Paragon
I am lead to believe that there are 2 CZ V Pol meetings on the weekend of the Prague GP. Does anyone know if they are going ahead & if so what time they start please?

tomazpozrl
According to this website : http://www.speedwaya-z.cz/kalendar.php there are two meetings in Prague GP weekend - in Pardubice and Mšeno. As it states : "kontrolní závod juniorské reprezentace" - this means : Czech junior teams test matches. According to Pardubice website these are in fact Czech rep. - Poland matches. Mseno website states that the meeting on 9.7. starts at 10 am, but I'm not sure about the meeting in Pardubice on 8.7.
TwoMinuteWarning
These are supposedly Under-21 meetings, but judging by two matches held in Poland in May, they could well be under-18. Pardubice meeting is scheduled for a 7pm start on Friday. Meeting at Mseno is at 10am Saturday morning. I'll be at both matches (if the Czech beer dosen't get the better of me)
Paragon
Thanks for the replies, will try and make the Friday meeting, but the Saturday one is a problem (due to having to change hotels Saturday morning)

TwoMinuteWarning
Strong Polish teams! I think the Czechs will do well to win one of these matches - should be good speedway though.
TwoMinuteWarning
Both internationals, at Pardubice and Mseno, were rained off
Paragon
Suspected Mseno had been rained off when we saw Mr Setera's van outside Marketa at 11am this morning. Let's hope Prague stays dry today!

TwoMinuteWarning
I've been told that these meetings have been rearranged for 12.8 - Pardubice 13.8 - Mseno Can anyone confirm this? Thanks
whowasthatberntpersson
I'm hoping to do the Czech Golden Helmet weekend next year, staying in Eastern Europe for a week and hopefully seeing a Polish meeting or two also. Has anyone done anything similar? Do the Poles run meetings during the week? or are they all held on Sunday's? Basically I want to see as much speedway as possible in the seven or eight days I'm in Eastern Europe.
