Eastie
Put both wheels inside the white line on the 1st bend in his last race before the semi's, or should I say on the plastic plates. I thought that a rider gets excluded for that offence , or is it because their is no white line or kerb they get away with it. Does anyone know?? Dekker
I was wondering that as well, looked like both wheels over the line.
Subedei
Iversen did much the same thing earlier. I don't think both wheels crossed the kerb. The back wheel hit the kerb and kicked the bike away from the inside line.
rabbit
Have to admit initially I did think both wheels crossed the line, so watched pretty closely in the replay. I came to the same conclusion as Subedei that the front wheel was right over, but the back wheel hit the kerb and got pushed away rather than going right over it. Very close call though. Subedei
Either way both he and Iversen got seriously out of shape. It hardly gained them an advantage.

Rob B
As the referee didn't notice the tapes not going up and being broken he wasn't going to notice someone putting two wheels over the white line!
Eastie
Funnily enough was the ref another POLE ?

I did make the connection even though I'm a Poole fan. Just maybe not immediately at the time you registered.
Steve Shovlar
Why change your name to Eastie from Kylmo? We all know you as that so just because you changed your email doesn't mean you have to change your handle.
Dekker
Any comments on Mr Lindbacks poor form for Poole compared to his GP form?
Subedei
His GP form is slightly misleading. He's scored 37 points in the qualifying rounds, which is the same as Hans Andersen and 1 more than Gollob. He's made a couple of finals which makes it look spectacular. I'd say his GP form is broadly similar to his league form - pretty inconsistent. He's pulled off some superb races for Poole this season, just as he's pulled off some in the GPs. The GP ones just stand out more. Edited June 26, 2005 by Subedei
GoTigers
As the referee didn't notice the tapes not going up and being broken he wasn't going to notice someone putting two wheels over the white line! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was sitting at the straight opposite of the start. In that first heat where the tape didn't go up not a single person that I could hear, noticed anything was wrong. It really looked like he just had an engine failure. As soon as they played the replay on te big screen after the race the entire stadium went crazy, but not untill that moment. Obviously that doesn't exceuse the ref as he should be paying extra attention to things like that but to his credit the stadium announcer did say that there might have been some problems with the red light as well so that it didn't get turned on even though he had pressed the button. shazzybird
Jeeeeeeeeesus another thread discussing a Poole rider (whether in the GP or not) started by an Eastbourne Fan. Could you not have just added it to the thread regarding last nights GP!

I was watching on Sky and I saw it straight away, and I think if you look back through the other thread you will see all the other people who were also watching saw it long before the four laps were up. Guest Sir Lunchalot
It wouldn't let me .But as your my mate Steve if you are offering to show me how I will <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You sure you put the correct new email address in Eastie ? The forum automatically sends a message to the email address shown and if its not a valid / correct email address it will bounce and you won't be able to activate the nickname containing the revised details. This stops people registering with invalid email adresses, not that it stops many people from registering weird nicknames (like steve shovelling) as it's easy enough to register a new email address with any of the free email providers.
