21st century heathen
Following taken from William Hill website. Speedway : Denmark Grand Prix - Outright Bet Until : 18:15 25/06/2005 T Rickardsson ( Swe ) 6/4 J Crump ( Aus ) 7/2 Nicki Pedersen ( Den ) 11/2 L Adams ( Aus ) 7/1 G Hancock ( Usa ) 14/1 H Andersen ( Den ) 16/1 J Hampel ( Pol ) 20/1 Bjarne Pedersen ( Den ) 20/1 T Gollob ( Pol ) 25/1 S Nicholls ( Gbr ) 25/1 A Lindback ( Swe ) 25/1 R Sullivan ( Aus ) 33/1 A Jonsson ( Swe ) 33/1 N K-iversen ( Den ) 50/1 L Richardson ( Gbr ) 50/1 T Chrzanowski ( Pol ) 100/1 The weather looks fair, and an escape from the heat if you've been struggling. BBC weather Scott and AJ are surely on the verge of a result. Nicki and Jason to make the final with them. The gate positions will decie the winner. Richie
Hampel at 20's - can he do it again and get onto the podium? Hans and Bjarne at 25's on skybet could look good value as well.. I can only find outright winning odds, does anyone know of anywhere offering a bit more variety?
Leliwa
This one is going to be a real test for Jarek Hampel. He is coming off very good performance this week in Sweden. Hope this will continue on Saturday. I certainly hope that he can make it to the final again. If so, I would say that despite missing to GPs, he has a chance to be in the top 5 and maybe, possibly compete for one of the medals. We Poles, really miss our rider in the top 3 in general standings. As for Tomek Gollob, I think that semifinal is the top for him right now, especially that we have another temporary track awaiting in Copenhagen, not his favorite thing, and he is still torn between Jawas and GMs. Nicki should be in the final, unless he does his “Nicki stuff” again. For the sake of the whole GP series it is about time for some other rider to come on top. But will Tony let it happen?
superjoe
Scott Nicholls 25/1 got to be worth a quid at least? Think i will change my prediction and go for a Crumpy Win with T Rick going out in the Semis. One can only hope
sjw ministerofport
I hope Scott can get to the final but AJ at 33/1 seems a great each way bet to me.

the_angel_of_delight
My predictions for the gp: 1. TRick 2. Scotty 3. Bjarne 4. Nicki Shame i'm going to miss this one. With Scott on form at the moment he'll be determind to get in that final.
Silver Bee
My predicition for the top 4 is pedersen, andersen, jonsson and rickardsson Iversen to make semis.
SCB
Iversen is worth £1 each way on skybet (80/1), I think AJ is due a final aperance too and he may just win it.
andy moore
Who rides the track regularly anyone know, who have won the previous gps in Denmark.
Subedei
It's a temporary track, like Cardiff. So, I'd say no one rides it that regularly. And Crump's won the last couple of GPs held there. Edited June 24, 2005 by Subedei
SCB
Puk was in the semis last year, I think he come 5th/6ht in the end as he come 3rd in the semis, now as he is a better rider than last year, he should make the final. Fingers crossed.
wolfinflorida
Anyone know if there is live radio coverage of the Danish Grand Prix on Saturday. Thanks
Eastie
TRick will be banging the final nails in Crumps coffin come Saturday night. He is just so far ahead of the rest in terms of points, ability, and anything else you can think of. And he is coming home to Poole in 2006! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ability to fall off when passed and who needs ability with GP refs like that Edited June 25, 2005 by Eastie
orion
Tricky got a poor draw 2 gate four's and his gate3 is early doors as well ,if he is going to mess up it will be now if he were to score 7 and not make the semi and crump were to win it could be game on . I fancy hans andersen to do well myself
lupus
I'm really hoping for a Nicki Pedersen win! But only becasue I've got him in the Wolfcry sweepstake and I need the points!!!!!!!
tigerblues
TR doesn't necessarily have to miss out on the semis for the others to stand a chance. You get nothing for riding in the semis. He's just got to miss out on the finals. If he scores, say 8 and qualifies for the semis in Copenhagen, but misses out on a final that Crump wins, it gets a whole lot tighter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quite true, but when TR gets the Semis, he rides like a real rider, and actually tries, so far, he hasn't had to try that hard. I think it'll be.... 1. Crump 2. Rickardsson 3. N Pedersen 4. Nicholls Although I would like it to be 1. Crump 2. Nicholls 3. Bjarne 4. Richardson I can't see that happening though Although Rickardsson is just about the best in the world, and he is a smashing rider, I really hope he misses the semis. Then Crump will probably win if he can make the final and the scores get a hell of a lot tighter.
gav
I have gone for aj £5 ew. trick aj n.pedersen j.crump. Any ones guess who will win, could depend on gates. Edited June 25, 2005 by gav
Seb the Snail
My prediction: Hampel Andersen TRick Nicki The GP series ends tonight with Crump failing to make the final and Tricky Disco extending his lead. A word of advice - anyone looking to invest should avoid Ladbrokes at all costs. Their odds are even worse than the ones Frigbo offered me in Cardiff last year, when he had the top 6 riders all 3-1 or less!!!
Subedei
It's a bit late, I know, but The Independent has a "48 Hours in" feature on Copenhagen in it's travel supplement today.
