Subedei
Of the 4 GPs so far, 3 have obviously been won by Master Rickardsson's GMs and just a solitary 1 by Jawa. But it seems to me that GM powered riders are doing so much better this year than Jawa. Take the British GP yesterday. Was anyone in the final Jawa powered? The fancied Jawa riders, such as Crump, Gollob (who looked to be on Jawa) and Adams all looked pedestrian compared to the GM runners like Rickardsson, Hampel, Jonsson and Co. Are the Jawa people in the Czech Republic falling behind their Italian rivals? Edited June 12, 2005 by Subedei
DartfordHammer
True, but isn't Richardson on GM's?
Subedei
And Richardson didn't look pedestrian. Left Gollob for dead. He looked to have the pace, just perhaps lacking a little track craft.
Hazzman
I think Gollob will be on a moped engine at Parken. The way he chop and changes!
AndyM
Perhaps it depends on tuners. Most of the Aces riders on Jawas this year look to have a lot more horse power at their disposal than the GMs. Joe Screen looked a different rider on the Jawas. Subedei
Jawas are doing okay in the leagues. You only have to look at the top of the averages. Crump and Adams both on Jawas. But in the GPs it's GMs all the way. And I thought Adams had this super tuner in his team this year?

Because in league racing the tracks are deeper, and have more grip. In the GP tracks are slick, and with a less powerful engine you have better traction... Honestly I think it's the tuner, ans how a rider tell's him to do the engines. Second, it's a mental thing.
Subedei
And GMs steal the show in Denmark as well. All 4 finalists powered by GM and the fancied Jawa runners again looking pedestrian. It looks like Leigh Adams could be blaming the tuner, with rumours that the recently recruited super-tuner that would provide the "missing link" is departing his team. I suggest you give Genghis a call, I can see a band of angry Chzechs coming over the hill.
