SCB
Well, follow the signs Get a bus/taxi would be my advice if you can't find it. Personally, I can't see the attraction of the place, nothing intresting there.
shazzybird
I think Addy did that last year and had a wonderful time.
Star Lady
We went to Cardiff Bay in 2003 and thoroughly enjoyed it, found the bus easily and from memory they ran about every 10 mins or so. Well worth it if you are happy to give up some drinking time
Addy
I think Addy did that last year and had a wonderful time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes Had a wonderful time with Pammie and her great family and friends I seem to remember having a telephone conversation whilst on a little cruise - ... What me, ... push a former world champion, ... into Cardiff Bay? .... Who could possible have suggested I do that ???
Presenter
I think there are plenty of signs for Cardiff Bay. I will be down there tonight (Friday) having dinner in Scallops Restaurant with friends and our coach drivers from Ipswich. Two coaches going on a three-day trip, plus three one-day coaches going from Ipswich. Loads to do in the Bay. The boat trip round the bay is excellent and you sail right round the stadium and there is also a white-water raft ride for those that are more adventurous. Loads of bars and eateries.....so you should have fun... I am looking forward to our behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium on Saturday morning....exclusive to our tour.... Whatever you guys do....have fun....
21st century heathen
Get the bus from the city centre, near the castle. Sorry can't remember the bus number, but ask around and someone will point you in the right direction. Get chips from Harry's, and an ice cream from the place that's on a short 'pier'. Hazzman
We are doign Cardiff Bay this year aswell. Leaving at about 10am from Leicester, get to Cardiff at 1pm, buy tickets. Go Cardiff Bay for a few hours till about 4.30pm. Park back up in the city- you can do it, done it the last two years. Then get in stadium for 6 or just above soak up the atmosphere. 2ndBender
There's a "Nipper" bus that goes from right behind the Railway Station, every 10 mins, I think. The Bay is well worth a visit, but it can be expensive with lots of poncy bars and restaurants. My favourite restaurant is the Turkish "Bosphorus" but that will set you back a bit. Terra Nova is a reasonably priced bar, but if you want a real pub try the Packet.
Dicey
Other option is to get a taxi from the train / bus station outside the stadium . Less than £5.00 . OK if theres a few of you
