Subedei
Leigh Adams: Barely made it into the final and won't be a real threat in the overall standing. I'm afraid he didn't make it that far. Barely made it into the semis. Nevermind, when I reviewed the riders in the Eskilstuna thread I managed to put Hancock in the semis. As someone once said, it happens (or words to that effect). Subedei
He just seems miles faster than anyone else this season, wondered what his secret is ........ I guess he and the people around him are innovative! He's an enormous talent, uber-professional and leaves nothing to chance. He's raised the game in much the same way Mauger did in the late-1960s and 1970s. And, this year, he's so much more determined than in recent seasons. He wants No 6 and it's going to take something special to stop him. Edited May 28, 2005 by Subedei

Subedei
Are you trying to get me another 25% warning?
shaky
I reckon if there was a thirty yard marker Lindback would'nt of cut across so early so it was the right decision by ref and by the way sudden sam should know what he's talking about he has been riding for twenty odd years. And also all you lot critcising Tony Millard commentating just be gratefull that sky do an excellent job televising if it was for them we have to buy a copy from a video company.Meaning we would know the result before we see it probably having to wait a week or so for them to deliver the copy. And its cheaper in the long run having 5 or 6 matches shown every month. It would cost us more in the long run having to buy them. heathen76
A familiar pattern emerging this year, follow the leader to start, getting better as riders realise they need points for semis, good stuff eventually though,TR looks unstoppable, nicki is giving it a good go,JC fired up as always, and some interesting bit parts going on-flyin ryan really back in the groove tonight, greg outta sorts(must be those sleepless nights!)lindback showing immense promise but occ mistakes through inexperience(turned left before 1st bend-correct desicion ref!),scotty looking better but must sort out his gating, less said about rico the better!! well done matej-gotta go elite surely in 2006? cardiff next-and back to the temp tracks, could throw the proverbial spanner in the works for 1 or 2-still wouldnt bet against trick tho-seems really fired up for no 6 this year
Steve Turner
It made a nice change to see the ref exclude someone(Toninio) on the 1st bend for what would normally be a 50/50 call, and therefore end-up 'all 4 back'. But if that was his intention for the whole meeting, why didn't he exclude Sullivan for trying in vain to move Hans out of the way ? (which personally I found hilarious )

sunnygirl
MATEJ ZAGAR is the best!!! Well done! Just to add, Jason Crump was very seak on the night of the meeting (he even threw up in the middle of it!), so making the final was a great job for him! Subedei
I hope that the Grand Prix was a success for the promoters sunnygirl. It looks as if once again Crump has shown the huge extent of his will to succeed. A great achievement for him to make the final. The guy's a true champ. tommy
Nice ride by Zagar, congrats to him! That's 2 out 3 boring SGP's...keep it up Olsen, wonder if he can keep going and make the cardiff track even worst
garf
Anyone got the "heat-times" ?
Hazzman
I took about 12 heats to get going but here is Hazzman's Krsko verdict. This track always helds great promise with its big, wide corners yet again a tracks advantages are poorly let down by Olsen. So, it wasnt until about Heat 14 when it lively up and by that time I put down my scorechart and made myself a cup of tea in hope the tea bag may welcome a racing storm upon the track. We eventually got the Krsko we know it can do and my excitement mainly came from Zagar and Nicholls. What else does Nicholls have to do? The draw was bad for him this yet he will learn from his mistakes(first two heats). His attitude is right and I think a Grand Prix win is a possibility soon. Zagar someone give him an Elite spot and the reaction of the Slovenian crowd when he was in the lead in the Semis. Now for the inconsisent performances from two riders, Sullivan and Gollob. Gollob looked good after a mid-meeting bike maker change. Sullivan likes this track and his bike just seemed to simply hook up. Two major disappointments, Jonsson and Richardson. Jonsson when I seen the WC Poole meeting and he done that superb mastertrick off the airfence. I thought he is possibly the next Swedish world champion after Trick. Yet he seems jaded and simply cant be bothered. Maybe the rise of Lindback as led to this downspiral in form. Richardson just simply cant cut it at this level. Chranowski shows more bottle. Richardson is always a maybe rider whereas Nicholls is I must rider. This GP although did bring me around to certain rider. Mr.Pedersen, I share a love and hate relationship with. His comic turn at gating pick was hilarious and he seems determined again. Crump didnt seem on the pace all night but just having that difference in class gains him a spot in the final. TRick well he is simply awesome and I loved his reaction when winning. The only probelm is I cant see another person willing to think I can win a GP tonight ahead of Crumpie and TRick. There are only two possible candidates who could possibly pull this out the bag and thats Nicholls and Pedersen. With Cardiff brings the manmade track, love em or hate em. They do provide the option of providing a great surroundings for the fans. The manmade track I think will shake the standings up a bit and various riders who are riding badly at the minute may haul themselves back into it. With Floppy Norris hoping to emulate Matej Zagar's effort. The 'Monaco of Speedway' is epicly poised.
