Matej  :D  FANTASTIC

Nice to see a PL rider showing the EL riders how to ride in a GP.

Just goes to show there's not much difference in some of the riders, in the two leagues.

but matej should be in the elite league for the class of rider he is. so not really

well done again matej. the whole of trelawny was behind you

Not the best was it. i wish i had gone to Stoke now,

Totally agree worst this year, not a big fan of GP anyway team racing much better,

rather go to the world cup at Swindon than Cardiff, bit unlucky for Adams in the semi but to be fair he wasnt really on form tonite. Norris will be the top brit at cardiff, and the winner wont be JC or TR, i predict a diffrent result than usual.

Why was Adams going so wide? he REALLY screwed up!

Exactly what 3 of us thought in this house, could have blown his chances tonight, we shall see.

Trick looks something else this year, what is his secret? These new frames can't make that much difference surely? I suppose the slightest advantage you can gain helps though! Does his father still have anything to do with the make up of his engines?

i know. and i was pointing out that he shouldnt be in the pl but chose to stay for another season.

i know the premier league needs class riders but matej is too higher class to be playing micky mouse speedway now.

Subedei sorry but I think your mate aTomek is now just a spent fuel rod.

Possibly, probably. But, with a hint of the hopeless, helpless romanticism of the Poles I'll keep faith and go for TG at Cardiff. Actually, he didn't do too bad at Cardiff last season and it's not so much about power there as some of the circuits.

Oh Nicki is sooo cute, you know...  :D

But not as cute as you  ..

nikki was good tonight to n  o incident! :D

Pity it may have made things a bit more entertaining

great racing makes you want elite league instead of crap pl!

That PL crap serves up better racing than El i think.

Ivan Mauger as you know won the WC 6 times, and to a lot of people, he was boring and predictable. But these guys are in a class of their own. One day you'll look back on your speedway past and think "yes, Tony was the best".

;)

When Mauger was in his element a riders skill was more important, now you just need a really fast bike.

A little bit boring tonight in the beginning but the racing got better in the end. TRick is going all the way this year and deserves it. How can you not love that guy?

Here is how I think the riders did:

Hans Anders: Didn't win a race but still managed to make the semis, still room for improvement.

Kenneth Bjerre: Looked good in the first heat but it was all downhill from there. He will return with a permanent spot in the GPs in a few years.

Scott Nichols: Did well tonight, must be tough missing the semis by just a single point two GPs in a row. I have a feeling he will finally make it in Cardiff in front of his home crowd.

Bjarne Pedersen: Pretty horrible night, not living up to what people have been expecting from him at all.

Lee Richardson: Another bad night for him, probably wont be in the GPs next year.

Matej Zagar: Awesome racing by the young man tonight. If he keeps it up he will be in the GPs soon.

Jason Crump: Pretty good night but lost important points to Tony.

Tomasz Gollob: Great to see him back in the semis where he belong, hope to see more of that in the future and a final or two.

Tomasz Chrzanowski: Is in way over his head, does not belong in the GPs.

Greg Hancock: pretty mediocre night, probably won't finish as high as he did last year.

Leigh Adams: Barely made it into the semi final and won't be a real threat in the overall standing.

Tony Rickardsson: Absolutely amazing once again, pure class.

Ryan Sullivan: Was finally flying Ryan again and was number one after the qualifying heats. Will be interesting to see if he can keep it up.

Antonio Lindback: Had some bad luck and never really recovered from it.

Nicki Pedersen: Great to finally see him on the podium again and the timing couldn't be better. Cardiff is comming up where he has won before and Parken after that where he really wants to do well in front of the home crowd.

Andreas Jonsson: Horrible night for him, not much else to say.
