fiveone
Well Done TONY total class Matej FANTASTIC Nice to see a PL rider showing the EL riders how to ride in a GP. Just goes to show there's not much difference in some of the riders, in the two leagues. Cardiff here we come

fiveone
But that's not the point. I'm a speedway fan & I'm bored. Tony R is fast becoming the Michael Schumacher of speedway, a brilliant rider, but the races he's in are boring & predictable. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ivan Mauger as you know won the WC 6 times, and to a lot of people, he was boring and predictable. But these guys are in a class of their own. One day you'll look back on your speedway past and think "yes, Tony was the best".
BritPete
NICKI PEDERSEN WORLD CHAMPION 2005....remember folks, you heard it here first. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am afraid that you will continue to be bored, Nicki will not win it, TR might, but Nicki? no way. Robyn1972
the home of British speedway, Poole. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Judging by the looks of your teams over the years Steve - are you sure you don't mean home of foreign speedway?!!! Poor Poor scotty tonight - he must have been gutted at not making the semis after those battling rides to get there. A MUCH better night for him tonight though. Was also pleased that Hans DID make the semis, but I still think that the champion this year has to be Tony. I said prior to the first GP that I thought this would be his year for his 6th, and I'll be sticking with that! Thought Lindback's gestures when he was excluded were a bit pointless (bit like he was in that heat, really! ) - a fair call from the ref though watching the line Lindback too from the start he really tried to lean on Scott but in the end he came of worst. Never mind - plenty more years for him yet - he'll learn! Rider of the night would have to be Zagar though - fantastic to see him doing so well and obviously so pleased with himself too - brilliant! tarabanko
Most of the races was boring, just follow the leader. Antonio Lindbäck was harsly excluded then he went down in a hard first corner. The referee was inconsistent. Rickardsson was pulling at the tapes and the heat was not rerun, then in another heat a rider moved and the heat was rerun, the situation was the same. But Antonios exclusion was wrong, should have been all 4 back there. The last three heats was the really intresting ones, the other 20 was Id say pretty boring. The track length have a big inclusion in the racing. The GP at Eskilstuna was a real speedwaymeeting, with good racing. Good win for Tony Rickardsson though who was in a class of his own,,,, again!! Tony should have been on 75 points if not Nicki Pedersen had knocked of Bjarne in the finalheat in Eskilstuna. Mark Evans
Look, I've got nothing against Tony R, but you have to admit that it makes the world championship rounds as boring as hell when he runs away with every race & every round. Yes he's a brilliant rider, but I want to see at least two or three riders minimum battling it out to be world champion, not one rider slaughtering everyone else. So far I've been bored sh1tless watching this years GP's. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree 100% but its up the other 15 to up there game.

Subedei
I thought it was a pretty good GP with some fine racing. And it's a pleasure to watch TR ride. He's fantastic. But I don't think he's that far ahead of the champ, or Nicki P for that matter.

Liontamer
That's nice. Anyway, I'd love to stay & chat further, but I've already been bored once tonight so I think I'll take myself off to bed. So goodnight one & all mwa mwa, & don't forget to switch the television off before you come up. Edited May 28, 2005 by Liontamer
