Think you are wrong on both counts. It's a one horse race. If N Pedersen hadn't been excluded TRick would have won all three so far. Kidded CRump in the semi then blitzed him in the final. Crump couldn't get near third.

Game over. 11 clear and that lead will strach after Cardiff.

PS well done to Zagar. The type of rider who could fit in very well at the home of British speedway, Poole.

EDIT. Pirate Paul you beat me to it again!!!

Crump choosing gate 2 was do or die really, if you made the gate you could cut across gate 1 like he did in the semi but if you didn't you got boxed in like Jason did.

11 points in this format is nothing, all it takes is Rickardsson not to make the final in one GP and Crump can take the lead.

Wake up, Liontamer. That's my job to sleep  It was pretty boring tonight, did I say that about a speedway meeting. I bet all the other riders were shocked with Matejs performance. Well done, Matej, Tony is just pure class :)

Well done Matej Zagar great performance and unlucky not to hold off Nicki in the final.

Again Tony was class in the heats, semi and final when it was required the most.

Unlucky Scotty Nicholls not to get to the semis, seemed to have the speed and pulled off some great manouveres in the heats!!

Look, I've got nothing against Tony R, but you have to admit that it makes the world championship rounds as boring as hell when he runs away with every race & every round. Yes he's a brilliant rider, but I want to see at least two or three riders minimum battling it out to be world champion, not one rider slaughtering everyone else. So far I've been bored sh1tless watching this years GP's.

Okay, my thoughts on the riders individual performances (and let's hope I don't make a silly error like putting riders in the semis who weren't):

Adams: A poor GP for Adams. Slightly fortunate to make the semis and bombed out in the semis.

Andersen: Will be happy with a place in the semis. It was about all he deserved.

Bjerre: A super 1st ride, but then disappeared. Shouldn't be too down-hearted. It's all good experience for the fellow.

Chrzanowski: Out of his depth really.

Crump: Will be disappointed with running last after a decent overall performance. But fortune favoured him in Eskilstuna a little.

Gollob: A welcome return to the semis for aTomek Gollob and he was a little unlucky in the semi. Hopefully the Polish folk hero can build on this performance.

Hancock: Looks increasingly like 2004 was his last hurrah. Slipping down the order and not looking as competitive as last season.

Jonsson: Better not say anything, again.

Lindback: Looked like nerves, or pressure, finally got to the youngster. A mistake in his 1st ride, tapes exclusion in his 2nd and a justified exclusion (in my opinion) in his 3rd, told the story.

Nicholls: I feel for the guy. He put in a magnificent effort and I thought he deserved to be in the semis.

B Pedersen: A bit anonymous really.

N Pedersen: A great performance from Nicki P. Fully deserved his 2nd place and has put himself into a 3 horse race for the title, in my opinion.

Richardson: Pretty hopeless really, again.

Rickardsson: TR looks more determined than ever this season. Another awesome display of power and skill. A fully deserved win for the guy. And he's looking good for title No 6.

Sullivan: I thought Sullivan did okay at Eskilstuna, without quite getting the points he deserved. Tonight he got the points from a creditable performance.

Zagar: Fantastic achievement to make the final. Rode really well and deserved his 3rd place.
