Pete
Just a quick question on how the draws are made for the GPs, are they randomly done or is there a constructed method to be fair to riders gate wise throughout the season. Also how are the Semi Finals drawn? From what it looks like the 1st semi is between the riders who finished 1st and 4th in the fixed 20 heats plus two others (6th and 7th places in Wroclaw and 7th and 8th in Sweden?). Hans Andersen seemed to get the rough end of the pineapple in Sweden when it came to the semi final draw and wondered why he wasn't in the first semi? Rob B
The draw is randomly done from the FIM headquarters. As for the semi's someone put them in one of the Swedish GP threads. Off the top of my head think it may be 1, 4, 6, 7 2, 3, 5, 8 Hans Andersen was 8th in the qualifying as he was exlucluded in his last heat which is worst then a last place. Pete
How are the places worked out for level scoring riders then? I thought Andersen was showing on the captions above Bjerre and Lindback as he won the same amount of races and as he beat them both in their corresponding rides. Each individual meeting has a different way of working these things out. Pete

Cornishman
if the riders dont know, how do you expect us to
Rob B
I said Pete, Andersen had an exclusion, an exclusion is counted as worst then a last place in the event of a tie.
Pete
Take a look here Pete, post 6 onwards! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hehehe, thanks LW, must be an Ipswich thing........ Also thanks Rob, I get what you meant now but still wonder why it isn't taken on riders results againts the other riders in question first and foremost. Hans beat both Bjerre and Lindback in the qual races but finished below them on countback as his last place was an ex rather than a 0.
