Don't know about the rest, but Kennett and an Italian seed will ride in Lonigo. The other 2 seeds are in Tarnow.Fritz Wallner is seeded into the final, even though he finished with 0? due to a bad crash.Think thats right although i'm not sure how it works giving Austria a seed in the Final and 8 from both semi's qualifying as well

I heard that too, but I just don't understand it.

How can Wallner be seeded into the final and at the same time ride in qualifying round ??? Of course Austria will receive a place in the final, because no Austrian riders will qualify through qual. and semifinal rounds, but what's the point of Wallner riding in St. Johann on Saturday ?

Same as you Tomaz,i can only think that they were hoping he would qualify through the rounds. That would solve the problem, but they have the "safety net" so to speak of having an Austrian rider in the final.Still can't work out what will happen in the semi's if one rider has already qualified. The top 8 from both can't also go through.Thats speedway

Tomas --you are always in the know. If Rye House are saying that King and Allen are at Lonigo has the draw been done ???

Jorgen Jensen told me Tuesday or Wednesday for the draw.

If it has can you please let me know where Chris Kerr is so I can start the travel arrangements!!

Thanks

I think that the future is quite bright, all 4 seeded riders and 2 Wildcards from the British Under 21 final made the World Semi's. Looks like Tommy Allen justified his inclusion as a wildcard, i cannot see that Danny Giffard would of made the final.

By the way Mainman, pass on congrats to Chris Kerr who is turning into a real prospect, after the disappointment of recent young Americans in the UK, lets hope with your guidance he can be the next Bullet/Herbie/Sudden etc, maybe with Mildenhall next year???

Thanks for the line ups Tomas :)

I'd be very interested to see how the draw was made as there does seem to be some kind of pattern to it - yet the Lonigo semi has turned out to be slighty stronger based on finishing positions in the qualifiers

A lot stronger, Splatty, though that should give Danny King a fighting chance. Why is there any need for seedings at all, BTW?

Will do Fentigerslad --as for where next year wait and see !!! It is not just me behind him in "Team Kerr" with Ian Hewlett and Steve Norman doing a great job as well.

That line-up at Lonigo looks awesome but we are sure it will not phase Chris , who will once again do his best as he always does!!

Now to get planning for June 18th now we know we are off to Italy! (Thanks Tomas for the e-mail)

How strong is the Lonigo semi compared to Tarnow!!

Think Tommy, Edward and Wright will struggle to qualify from that semi but hopefully they can do it.

How many actually qualify from each? Not sure a home wildcard should be kept for the staging nation, this is a world final and if Wallner isn't good enough to get there on his own merit then there should be no place for him.

Agree Chris.Unfortunately speedway isn't such a popular sport i suppose that tracks are tripping over each other wanting to stage such meetings.Wild-cards are a neccesary evil i guess.Judging from what was said about a previous meeting this season in Austria,Wallner is needed at meetings to ensure the Austrian fans turn up.Whenever a meeting is run without him the attendance is poor. Will make for a farce though if one semi gets 8 qualifiers and the other 7,but maybe thats why one semi is weaker
