The Doctor...
some people do get into the practise, but your only allowed to sit/stand by the pits tunnel <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Erm...not true. There aren't any stewards whatsoever working on practise day (hence it not being open to joe public) so if you've got the desire to, you can watch it from anywhere in the stadium. Previous spots for Rico and The Doctor have been on the home straight, peering out of the main tunnel, standing on top of tractors, right up in upper teir, and any number of executive boxes, as well as right by the ref iirc from last years hazy memories. f-s-p
Practice would be an ideal oportunity for photos though if you can stand where ever you want! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's the same places as during the meeting for photographers. But I think practise shots are somewhat boring Weren't you at Eskilstuna? I think it gives a good answer to your question. There were platform's in each bend for taking pic's, but halfway trough there were guys by the tapes between the fences. I think that's how it goes at Cardiff as well. I've been to practise a couple of times. It's a good place to meet the rider's, they are all fairly relaxed, and you might even chat a little with them. Because come raceday, their all in their motorhomes thinking about the meeting.
Matt Davis
FSP - Yes i was at Esklistuna but i was in the stands with the rest of the specators.. The professional photographers got to stand where then wanted. What i meant was that you could stand whereever you wanted too in the seating area to get shots without worrying about being in anybodys way or anybody gettin in the way of your shots

Jay
I was at the Millenium yesterday with a couple of other forum members for a rugby match. Those that can afford the expensive seats (Around M10) You'll have an excellent view. Looking forward to a visit to "Chip alley" after the meeting too! Hazzman
There is not a single bad seat in the whole stadium. I pay £27 on the day and I think its the best seat because you get to see the whole track plus you have the Poles and Swedes with you.
