rami
Thanks Jim - You ever considered a painting of The Great Dane, Im sure it would be a good seller
Guest Jim Blanchard
Funny you should say that rami. That last action shot I have of EG I think would make a super art print. I have produced some initial sketches of that image and it would not include the riders that are behind him. I am thinking of a limited run of perhaps 200 and maybe if I can locate Erik and make a suitable payment to him as a licensing fee, all of them would be signed by him as well. I like the idea and it could well be my next speedway project. Thanks for you vote of confidence. Here <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks Jim, Nielsen at the back! thats got to be a rare shot You can download it if its for personal use only rami. Here is another of EG on the warm up lap. Here JB <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Am I right in thinking that this would be the meeting of Eric's accident. Always makes these photos all the more poignant when you see them & makes you realise how fragile a riders careers/health is Edited May 23, 2005 by -Howling Gorgon-

An excellent idea for a painting JB, you'd certainly have a queue forming down Dudley Wood

This one I am happy to show but not the rest of the sequence of other riders obviously upset at surgery being performed on Erik on the track. Here Before anyone does get on my case I did not take any pictures of Erik on the track only a few of the other riders. At that point I was unaware how badly he was hurt until I saw the reaction of other riders, then I realised the seriousness of the accident - I stopped shooting. Dave67
No complaints here Jim, don't think anyone expected what happened, its amazing the recovery Eric did make all being considered.
