Cornishman
any practice times?
tomazpozrl
I don't have official practice times, but according to Slovenian team manager Crump, Adams and Rickardsson were the quickest in yesterday's practice in Krsko. Nicki P. and Jonsson were also very fast, as were Lindback and Bjerre. Zagar didn't do anything special yesterday, because he was using a practice bike. The two "rockets" (as he called them), engines that he will be using today are ready for the race and he didn't test them yesterday. He practised with them on this track a fortnight ago and he also very successfully used them in the international meeting in Hungary last week (beating Crump, Holta, Bajerski, Chrzanowski etc). GO MATTY !!!!
Guest sw7179
1. Nicki P (6/1) 2. Crump (11/4) 3. TR (5/2) 4. Scotty (25/1) Sure the track will be so slick, road tyres might be the order of the day. Mr Olsen can we have a decent track with some dirt and grip to show the world what a great sport it can be. Non speedway folk always moan that 'whoever gates wins' yet Mr O continually prepares a track which makes it harder and harder to prove these doubters wrong. And from what I heard Olsen didn't have much comment on that. Surely it won't be as grippy today, but the organizers told me that it won't be so slick as it was last year. Let's hope you're right and we dont hear the same old interviews from riders bemoaning the fact that track conditions vastly change between practice and race day.
