Hard but fair, yep I suppose so he would have flattened any rider outside of him last night, so thats fair. Even Nikki was laughing about knocking Bjarne off.

He's a nutcase, but he is good to watch. ;)

How can you be so sure that he was laughing about knocking Bjarne off ?

Why couldn't it just be a joke in the pit ?

As told elsewhere here on the forum, Nicki was in Bjarne's pit after Bjarne had been released from the track-doctors, to apologise. That was seen on the Danish channel DK4.

Just for the record : I'm not a NP fan at all, but I think he has improved his attitude a lot since last season, so give the man a chance.

He admitted that it was a very little gap he was going for, and therefore he had no problems with getting excluded.

As I've said before, one day he'll pick on the WRONG one and get his comuppance!  :P

As a speedway supporter I don't want to see ANY rider get his comuppance. Nicki is a hard rider just like his brother was. Maybe if a few more British riders rode with his determination we'd have a few more Grand Prix champions instead of the odd rider here & there fannying about for minor positions.

He's just lucky that he's the age that he is and that he wasn't riding in the 70's else his comeuppance might have come sooner   :approve:

There ain't no "might" about it Shazzy hed have been picking himself out of some VERY dodgy safety fences AND had to wear a gum-shield in the pits  -and if he wasn't laughing about knocking Bjarne off,who would be telling jokes 30 seconds after he'd been excluded??

Used to quite like Nicki but the incident with Greg last season-which was far more likely to seriously injure his opponent than the one on saturday-tainted my opinion of him forever!!

As Johnston said "22 points and ANOTHER victim for Nicki!!"

It has to be said that there's a case of double standards going on here. When Adams says he's prepared to get "down and dirty" to become champ everyone nods and agrees it's just what has been missing for him

Yes but we know he will get "down and dirty" cleanly and controlled :approve:

I'm not saying you have to be a dirty rider to be world champ, but you DO need a bit of the killer instinct about you. Leigh is a great rider, but I don't think he has that extra edge to him which riders such as Nicki P, Crumpy, TRick etc have. Like I said on another thread NICKI PEDERSEN WORLD CHAMPION 2005 - bring it on. :approve:

Had that accident happened at a track without an air fence, would Bjarne have walked away? Personally, I believe that deliberately knocking other riders off is not fair. Which is why it is an excludable offence. Loram had a go at him last year at Arena for taking his front wheel and leg away on the last corner as Loram rounded him. One day he may actually show a little class and dignity, rather than exhibiting all the classic signs of short man syndrome.
