TwoMinuteWarning
Sad news from South Africa that Buddy (Arthur John) Fuller, who did so much for the sport in that country over many years, passed away peacefully in his sleep early this morning, 9 May 2005. He was 89. There will be a Memorial Service in Johannesburg on Wed.11 May. He rode in the UK in the late 1940s & early 1950s for, amongst others, Hastings. Then, for two decades, he became "Mr. South African Speedway" as both rider and promoter. Condolences to his family and friends.

TwoMinuteWarning
Just to say that Buddy (along with Ken Middleditch!) features on a new Website devoted to Hastings Speedway at http://hastingssaxons.doverathleticvideo.com/index.htm And a very well-researched site it is too.
