Trees
I agree - it took a while for the meeting to warm up. It wasn't untill the last few races when some riders had to score points to qualify. Aren't all top meetings like that when the grip is on the inside? I suppose I was a bit indifferent about it apart from a few races, probably because there are loads of riders in it now that I couldn't care less about, I'm getting old I guess LOL Obviously I agree Rickardsson was head and shoulders above, as Leigh said he's got something FAST under him. We'll see if this new Penske frame is going to make all the difference to his racing over the next few rounds, will be interesting! Was well pleased for Adams in his semi, perhaps Blomfeldt will make the difference to his set ups this season, sure hope that Rickardsson's new found GP form doesn't pee on the matches tho Crumpy deserved to get into the final of course following Pedersen "move over" on him, damned bloke, what's he gonna start all that race the man rather than the race again???? Checking out the starting gate before the presentation, perhaps Jason thought he chose the wrong gate, ah well not a bad start to his defence eh! His move on Lindback was pretty hard, he had to go for it tho, glad Lindback didn't come a cropper,
stevebrum
plain boring - give me the knock-out system anytime - EVERY race counts for something when really only the last 7 heats really mattered last night. Going backwards is never a good thing and thats all this is. Ive never been so bored watching a GP before and that takes some doin. Thought the track was too slick personally. The only riders that stood out to me- RICKO - magnificent and a class above. CRUMP - great then faded but as determined as ever LINDBACK - cant ask for a better debut really and was prepared to race HAMPEL - shame hes not interested in uk anymore The others didnt even register on the intersted scale
Bill leahy
yes , thought it so boring early on switched it off and on to sky plus to watch later, i've never done that before. aslo agree about the points system, great for the rider who has a bad night, just scrpes in to the semi, then makes it to the final,(Adams still called it the A Final) and doubles his points......but it was the first one, lets hope for speedway it gets better, thought Tatum was a bit biased, Pedersen was naughty, but a great move by Rickardson when he done the same thing...but then it's all about opinoins
12bore
I thought it was pretty poor, hardly a good advert for speedway and the production was too over the top, im just hoping it was a bad track on a bad night and normal service will soon be resumed
Champion
A co to ma wspólnego z przytoczonym przez Ciebie fragmentem mojej wypowiedzi? he? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just that the track WASN'T good ;p
Joanne
I was there and I thought the racing was good. Not seen what's on the recording but I don't know how good the camera people were. Only just got back from the GP 15 minutes ago. Rickardsson was superb, bit worried about Hans but its still early in on the season yet so every one is still testing there bikes out anyway. Fireworks were superb although I did get a bit frightened towards the end As for the weekend, Wroclaw is lovely. Vodka goes down to easily or was that it gets given to me too easily Leszno was certainly an experience Thanks for the lift etc to and from the GP

Joanne
Was Rico terribly dejected after the performance of his hero? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll let Rico answer that one, it was a shock to us all. At least Hampel did OK.
Rico
Was Rico terribly dejected after the performance of his hero? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I cannot remember such a tame performance from the great man. I hope this is just a temporary blip and he reminds the world of his capabilities in the remainder of the series. However, Jarek did superbly well - I was sporting my trusty Hampel cap for the day . The groan in the stadium when Adams went round him was unbelievable. There was much excitement in the stadium as Hampel was apparently called second by the announcer, but I knew this wasn't true. Might have to pen some words to describe the whole weekend - really was awesome. I'll change the names to protect the innocent though (eh Nikki ) Rico

Hazzman
I thought it was a great GP. Plenty of overtaking and good moves. However one criticism of the new format is the gulf between 16th place to the winner of final is too far. 13 points difference between 16 riders is fairly harsh but it does bring the best out of the riders. shaky
i like the new system as far as the racing is concerned but the gap in the points is just too much. tony isnt going to loose many this year me thinks. now that hes not riding elite league he can fully focus on the gps. the brits.....c**p , i thought scotty had a chance this year. he wont be in next year if he keeps that up. lee was just as bad lindback....wow. where did that come from a lot of 1st corner action but after that very few passes, although the ones we did see were fantastic. not really worthy of all the build up. 6/10 as far as exitements concerned. would probably have been even less had it not been the 1st one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
