This Gp Track Is Rubbish

Recommended Posts

I think the commentators think it's 'hard but fair' if it's anyone else but 'dirty riding' if it's Nicki Pedersen. Tony's move on 1st bend with Lindback was exactly the same as Nicki's move on Crump. New GP, same old bias.

Well done to Trick, deserved his win, Lindback also excellent tonight.

His bikes were not fast enough, his experience short, but as far as I am concerned he was star of the show tonight.

No, sorry Steve. There was only one star of the show tonight and that was Rickardsson. I'll agree that Lindback was fantastic, but you've got to bow before Rickardsson. Tonight was his night and no one else's.

As a huge TRick fan I have opened a bottle of Krug here with the wife to celebrate Tonys win. The man is back, in stunning form and leaving everyone else to be scrapping over second place in 2005.

The Krug tastes wonderful. :approve:

Well done King Tony Rickardsson! :approve:

A breathtaking performance by THE man, surely the greatest of them all, and in my view, he does not even need a 6th win to prove it, he has won 5 genuine world individual titles, and at no time did he have to rely on anothers misfortune.

Long way to go yet, and lots of different tracks. The new formula is much fairer and more likely to deliver the best verdict, though I'd still prefer to do away with the semis and final myself.

Lanzilla, what pressure?

Did anyone expect him to do well?

He was under no pressure tonight whatsoever. He rode fantastically well and deserved his place in the final. But he wasn't under pressure. On the basis of this performance the pressure will be on in the next grand prix.

So being in his first GP as a fully fledged member of the circuit in 2005. Being touted in the build up as the next big thing and getting more media attention than most, means he was under no pressure???.......Don't make me laugh Subzero!! ;)

Subzero was - of course - a charcter in the Arnie film "Running Man".

And no, he wasn't under any pressure. No one really expected him to come 4th. He could just go out there and ride. If he did well, great. But if he didn't, no harm. As I said, lets see how he goes in the 2nd grand prix. Expectations - not least from himself - will be higher.
