If you reread I think you will find you are both on the same side. Nicki getting the stick wrong again. :D

Looks like Crumpie's got loads of speed, but his bike's not getting him out of the starts quickly enough, which is how he lost in heat 16. They showed him earlier with the back wheel spinning, scrabbling for grip. Needs a bit of adjustment to keep the torque flowing, by the looks of things.

Did well after a learning experience in the second half, and came out well in the final. Congratulations to the lad.

For all the Pedersen knocking, Crump just chopped off Lindback big time nearly bashing the youngster off in his panic for a rostrum place.

Stilll well done Lindback, a novice compared to the rest and in a few years you will be at the top whilst others will have long gone. Today you came of age boy.

Now all hail King Tony, the best speedway rider in the world by the proverbial mile. :approve:

Well, if you want to be champ, you've got to be prepared to grapple with the meanest of speedway's mean. Pedersen was hard on Crump and in the final Crump was hard on the youngster Lindback.

A fantastic, awe-inspiring performance by Tony Rickardsson. He won it. And the rest were nowhere.

Agree about the Crump + Lindback incident. Left no room at all for Lindback and nearly got put in the fence. But thats racing i guess.Still welldone to Lindback, a great official debut to the GP's.

Welldone TRick also. Back to his best it seems.

And it was hard but fair. And Crump was by no means the only rider in the final to leave Lindback for roadkill. Rickardsson was as hard as Crump. But it's a learning curve for the young fellow. A tremendously impressive effort. He's a confidence rider and his good showing in his opening heat was probably the key to his performance.

As for the British riders: it's going to be a long old season for the hapless duo.

Andersen and Gollob will surely improve on their terrible displays, but you have to doubt whether Nicholls and Richardson will.

I am not complaining on Crumps move, just the amount of fans on here who create merry hell when Pedersen did it to Crump, but if it was Pedersen making that move we would be up to 5 pages already. Crump did nothing illegal or he would have been out. Lindback is a novice with a hell of a lot to learn.

His bikes were not fast enough, his experience short, but as far as I am concerned he was star of the show tonight. A fresh face is what is so desperately needed at the top, and although we can't expect him to do as well every GP, he made a big mark tonight, and it won't be the last time this year he will be in the final.
