Hi

 

Can any give me some advice as to which area of Prague or hotel(s) to stay in for the Czech GP, want somewhere which is not to far from the airport but also withing walking distance of the bars etc and easy to get to the stadium by public transport or similar.

The airport is about fifteen miles from the city centre, so you'll struggle to be close to the airport and the bars.

Beercellar stayed in the Krystal. Its not far from the stadium. I dont think it's that far from the airport.

The best bars in Prague can be found in the Zizkov suburb. But it's a rough area.

Just booked today. Hs anyone stayed in the U Tri Korunek hotel in praha 3 district ?

 

No cheap flights left so i had to pay £170 return.

next season as soon as the dates are announced i will be booking.

 

Is any else on the bmibaby flight out of Manchester at 15.55 on the friday.

U Tri Korunek (Three Crowns) is in the Zizkov area of Prague, not far from the National Monument on Zitkov hill, but a fair old hike from the Marketa stadium. It's probably about 10-15 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square.

I have been in touch with the hotel and they say 50 mins tops on public transport. I should have checked where the hotel was in relation to the track.

Tickets have come this morning. I chose to have them delivered by Fedex rather than print them off and the tickets i got are printed off on a4 paper. It was cheaper than buying in for my printer anyway.
