raymondbudd
I've off to the GP soon and am now looking at the hotel situation, was looking at the holiday inn which I assume is in the town centre (should be by the price they charge). What is the travel like to the stadium and will it be easy from the town centre, I can't seem to find any stadium info anywhere which is making life very hard. many thanks, Raymond

Rico
Trams 8,9,12 and 17 serve the Olympic stadium in Wroclaw. Takes about 15/20 minutes from town centre. Holiday Inn is quite close to the centre, very close to the railway station if my memory is correct. Good links are the Wrolcaw club site - hover over WTS Atlas Wroclaw, then you can select stadium info (Stadion Olypijski). The Wroclaw City site has interactive map and info in 4 languages. Need anything else just shout. Rico

Brightonbob
Rico - My flight into Wroclaw on the 4th August and arrives at 14:50. Should there be enough time to get the meeting? I'm not sure when it starts. Flight departs Sunday afternoon as I can feel a right beer fest coming on after the final.
Rico
Should be fine brightonbob I'd imagine the meeting will start 1900 local time, if not later. Rico
sjw ministerofport
Just wondered what the weather temperature is usually at the end of April, looking at the temperature for Warsaw today it was warmer than ours so should it be warmer at the end of April. Rico
Click here for info on the climate for Wroclaw. My expectation is t-shirt or long sleeve top during the day, light jacket at night. I am Scottish though, so anything above freezing is good enough to get the sun-cream out. HenryW
My expectation is t-shirt or long sleeve top during the day, light jacket at night. I am Scottish though, so anything above freezing is good enough to get the sun-cream out. Looks like somewhere between 3 and 7 degrees for the meeting according to the site you suggested. That makes me think heavy jacket.....Or are jackets defined different down south? Would my heavy jacket actually be a light jacket? A few beers before the meeting should see me in just a t-shirt and then complaining of a cold for the next few days.....Remember to slap me if I do get to the t-shirt stage....unless I have a flash Pepe t-shirt to display
Rico
Remember you'll be in a heaving crowd HenryW, always good to add a few degrees to the temperature. And then when they set the flares off, you'll be whinging that you are too hot in your heavy jacket ! A couple of pre-meeting beers will see you through it, though I guess as ever you should pack the cold remedies, just in case. I'll be sticking to my light jacket though.
