Anyone know of a good site where I can see details of the stadium and City of Bydgoszcz in Poland for the GP?

The bird wants to go to Poland for her 21st and take in this meet whiles over there but need to know whether the town is worth spending a few days in before booking up in Warsaw and Zakopane.

Anyone been there before?

Bydgoszcz is an industrial city however has its own advantages too. If I were you I would rather spend few days more in the beautiful city Zakopane than in Bydgoszcz, but it's of course up to you. I hope this will give you more information. (in english too).

I tried to find an information about stadium but I didn't find anything. I suppose you're looking for information how you can get there?

It's ridiculous BTZ Polonia Bydgoszcz website doesn't gibe such info

David,

What info do you require regarding the stadium ? If I can't answer it I know a man who can. I think our current rough plan is to spend a couple of days in Torun after the GP (an hour or so on the train back toward Warsaw) and the old city is supposed to be splendid.

I've also been to Zakopane and Warsaw before so shout if you need anything regarding them. Sounds like a fine trip you are putting together.

Rico

Cheers chaps.

Regarding the stadium, I really only want to know what it looks like, just to get an idea of which part of the ground to stand/sit in and generally just to see if its an old traditional oval shaped terraced arena or a more modern facility.

I think our plan is to fly to Berlin from Bristol the day before the meet and head to BTZ the next morning and stay the night there, then move onto Warsaw for a few days and then to Zakopane for the same sort of time, probably go in all for 10/12 days.

I've been to ZKP a couple of years back when I was travelling, we had no idea what the place was going to be like we simply just needed to get out of Slovakia and this was the only route by bus. We spent 4 hours at border control but we agreed it was certainly worth it to stumble across this place and I can't wait to go back. Never made it to Warsaw though so I'm really looking forward to that, I have a keen interest in WWII as well so visiting places like this have much more meaning to me then just getting pissed on cheap larger.
