TonyMac
Hello Rick! Good to hear you're doing well for yourself. Like so many others, I found your comments on here very interesting and, given the limitations of the messageboard (and the strain on your typing fingers!), I wondered if you would like to be interviewed by Backtrack Magazine (you might remember me from my days at Speedway Mail in the 80s?). If so, please email me at editorial@retro-speedway.com with your phone number, and hopefully we can arrange to hook up soon. I'd like to call you to chat about the glory days at Brandon and your time in the USA Test team, etc, etc. I'm sure our readers would enjoy an in-depth interview with you in our next issue... Look forward to hearing from you soon... Cheers, Tony Mac Backtrack Magazine

Dave67
Sorry to hijack your thread Rick. Do you want to nip off & roll a few cars or something while I sort the Howling Ganglion out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll give you bloody Ganglion!! A ganglion cyst is a bump or mass that forms under the skin. Most commonly, ganglions are seen on the wrist (usually the back side) and fingers, but they can also develop on the shoulder, elbow, and knee. These form when tissues surrounding certain joints become inflamed and swell up with lubricating fluid. They can increase in size when the tissue is irritated and often can "disappear" spontaneously. These masses or cysts appear to grow sometimes but they are not tumours or cancerous. Pah!! Bring it on Lionsha"^er I'm sure Rick understands, He probably has been to/through the county of the Damned!! Ps, I did mention Waterman, I even new him, friend of my ex father in law & at least 10 years older than he claims Edited February 25, 2005 by -Howling Gorgon-

As one of the longer term (not going to say older! ) posters on the forum I can vouch that this is the 'real' Rick as if he should have to prove it's him! He used to post on the previous incarnation of the forum as well. Can see now why some ex-riders keep their anonymity on here lol !

I didn't realise Speedway had been running that long at Brandon. Looks like we have scared Rick off and I'm not surprised. Being as there are so many questions being fired at him perhaps he will take up the offer of an interview for the Backtrack magazine. I hope so.
