Ricky Barney 0 0 0 0 0 0 18. Luke Gough 2 2 Good to see Scott James qualifying. This is only his 2nd meeting since returning from injury. Surprised to see Karlis not qualifying, getting too much sun Out of interest, who deceided what riders could go straight through to final? FINAL (Saturday) 1. Scott James 2. Troy Batchelor 3. Chris Holder 4. Cory Gathercole 5. Rory Schlein 6. Jason Doyle 7. Robert Ksiesak 8. James Holder 9. Tom Hedley 10. Cameron Woodward 11. Mark Jones 12. Matt Wethers 13. Jay Herne 14. Michael Slade 15. Joel Parsons 16. Trevor Harding Reserves: Karlis Ezergailis dont know who won 3 rider run off for other reserve spot I really wouldnt want to put a wager on this one. This line up looks so much better than last year. Although Rory has to be favorite, IMO there are riders in this years line up capable of giving him some pressure. It's going to be a good one Will be interesting to see how Jason Doyle does now he's on his way to the IOW Edited January 29, 2005 by AX Racing Team
BrizHeathen
Rory should cream this field but the battle for minor placings should be fantastic. My outsider is Bachelor but there are plenty of capable riders in this one. By the way Tamworth is in New South Wales, a few hours drive from the Queensland border. Jenn
Seriously shocked at this result! I expected Rory to win this by a mile.... Does this mean that Chris Holder and the RooBoy will be riding in the U21 qualifier at Belle Vue???
SCB
I wonder if the Australian manager can get this rider to sign for Newport? About time we got another decent rider form Oz after suffering Lee Herne and Ash Jones. (BTW, I'm joking Anth, I like Lee Herne ) BTW. Racer X, I believe the track is sort of oval shaped, it has a straight, with a bendy bit that connects to another straight of similar length which leads to another bend beofre connecting with the original straight I don't know the lenght though but I would like to know. BTW2, I bet the IoW fans are loving this one, Jason Doyle beating Troy Batchelor.

But maybe winning this will make him think again. Looks as if Woodward and Doyle will end up in European rounds - but I got told Doyle prob wouldnt afford to be able to contend such an event involving so much travel. So then any places would go to who ever is over here and who Streety picks.
Topcat
He is obviously a prospect but don't get too excited, Rooboy has loads more experience. No doubt there are a few promoters checking there options. JDC are you one of them?
