Byzgosh Gp Train Details From Walsaw

Recommended Posts

Yes, its possible Sirmatty. I did that last year. Flew to Warsaw on the Thursday, then got the train to Bydgoszcz on the Friday. Its easy enough. Only thing is the language problem so I wrote it down for the train ticket office people. It took about 4 hours to get to Bydgoszcz. I'll look out the piece of paper tonight with the instructions on it unless of course Rico gets in there first. He doesn't need pieces of paper

thinking of going has any1 any info of trains from walsaw 2 byzgosh as easyjet looks v cheap 4 the flights and the hotel look very well priced???

Last year's topic has some useful stuff in it.

Or if you don't want to wade through that, try the Polrail site. To avoid confusion probably best to type Warsaw as the 'From' station, Bydgoszcz in the 'To' station then select Warszawa Centralna and Bydgoszcz Glowna from the respective dropdowns.

Rico

OK, Sirmatty, my piece of paper said:

Jeden bilet powrotny do Bydgoszcz Glowna

17 Wrzesien 04 Warsaw Centralna 1025

Bydgoszcz Glowna 1434

19 Wrzesien 04 Bydgoszcz Glowna 1306

Warsaw Centralna 1700

druga klase proze.

The girl in the ticket office printed out the tickets then wrote the price, 79,62 (about £13) on the piece of paper. Easy :)

Addy,

One personally would consider Sky Europe who fly from Manchester to Warsaw. I believe BA also fly that route.

Alternatively you could travel Liverpool to Warsaw or Luton to Warsaw / Gdansk with Wizz Air. Easyjet also fly from Luton to Warsaw.

I guess it just depends what suits the individual.

Rico

ps my tours never get lost !!

That'll be Joanne :D

Good good - I've got a reputation to maintain

I took a few friends over to Poland on non-speedway trips last year and I was a reasonable guide when sober !

Rico

Its ok Addy, I wasn't offended. Rico, you must remember that you were with Henry W and two brains are better than one (well better than my one) plus you've been loads of times before.

Joanne,

I didn't start the "Get lost with Joanne" tag - is that not self-named ??

Rico

I know you didn't Rico. I named it because I do get lost a few times but always seem to manage OK. Just saying that I was on my own and you were a double act. You did help me out a few times which was much appreciated :) But I feel I didn't do too badly even though I chickened out going to the forum get together

Addy, sorry I can't go with you, something to do with chess  Make sure you do the booking of hotel first for Poland as it gets booked up more or less straight away. If not go with Eurorider from Manchester :)
