Papa Bazarou
Right folks - 3 weeks until the 1st Grand Prix, the series this year starting in Poland at the Slaski stadium in Chorzow the scene of Nicki Pedersens first Grand Prix victory. The Polish wildcards have been named as Sesbastian Ulamek and Rafal Kurmanski. Any websliders making the trip over to Poland ? Who do you think will take the victory and 25 GP points ? Being the first gp of the season hopefully the poles will pack the place out, and it will make for good tv. Go nicki P ;-)
kevin
I wont be going but i have been to Poland before,it was in 98 and it was good really enjoyed it! Hopefully Scott Nicholls can start the new gp season the way he finished! He has been going really well so far this season and i can see no reason why he cant do well this season in the gp's! Come on scotty!!!!!!!!!!
Crazy Munchie
like the rest of you I'l be watching thanks to sky sports. I think that Gollob will take this first GP as he's been going well this year. Hopefully Scotty will make the final and I think he'll be joined by Nicki Pedersen and Krzysztof Cegielski. 1. Gollob 2. N.Pedersen 3. Cegielski 4. Nicholls Although I think Tony Rickardsson will be the World champ at the end of the year I think he may struggle a bit in this one. Jason Crump may be worth a bet if he doesn't have the rush of blood to the head that we've all come to know
Rico
Party (and believe me, we are going to ) of 5 heading out 2 weeks tomorrow to Poland. Staying a couple of nights in Warsaw then heading down to our base camp in Krakow where we are staying for 5 nights. As for the GP, I hope Gollob puts in a good performance - he doesn't seem as well liked down there as he is in his home town. The crowd were not happy with his performance last year. Hopefully the track will be better than last year. It will have had another 8 months to bed in so hopefully it won't rut up in the same way it did. Prediction - Crump, Gollob, Rickardsson, Richardson and 7 x 5 hangovers. Rico

Joanne
Not long now until the first GP. My hubby is going to a wedding that day so hopefully he won't be back until after 10pm so I can jump up and down in an excited manner for 3 hours or so. Really excited about Scott Nicholls and Nicki Pedersen. Tony Rickardsson had better watch out. He has some competition this year.
Mateusz
My predictions: 1. Gollob ;-) 2. Sullivan 3. Nicholls 4. Rickardsson

Gemini
Bless! Leave her alone. Joanne often comes out with quite innocent comments like this. When I read it the first time it made me laugh but I thought oops! I wondered how long it would be before someone pounced.

It is absolutely dreadful how these ambiguous comments are interpreted in different ways :? Joanne is a sport , good on you Jo She is most likely jumping up and down laughing in an excited manner at this very moment ...

Yes, I did find this very funny except I have only just read it just now. The other half was on the computer last night. Don't worry Gemini, I won't jump up and down at Cardiff as there is not enough leg room
21st century heathen
You could try standing on the seat Joanne. I'd like to see Scott and Lee dominate but realistically I think there may be just one place left in the final. Gollob is almost always flying in Poland, Tony always steps up a gear for the G.P.'s and Crump is going well. (when he turns up  ) It would be nice if the order was mixed up a bit like the first few races of the F1 season. It's possible Scott, Lee, Greg, Leigh, Nicki or Ryan could make it to the final and squeeze the others out.
21st century heathen
Prices are now available for the G.P. How about these for starters, Gollob 14/1 Nicholls 14/1 N. Pedersen 25/1 Dryml 25/1 Richardson 33/1 Ulamek 80/1 If you can't see anything that takes your fancy there, a full list is available on William Hill website. There's a speedway link on the left, then use the drop down menu centre screen towards the top. www.willhill.com
