Ah i remember the days when only myself and David Lamont were the only ones standing in the middle snapping away at Gossie... Now ya got everyone jumping on the bandwagon which can only be good for the venue and the sport in this state if the actual pixs are picked up by magazines and other forms print media outside of the traditional SRN, Speedway World, magazines. Hope you are having fun taking some happy snaps at Gossie then..............cheers

P.S. Jan Grainger is one of the most of energetic, loyal, friendly and lovely person in speedway in this state also both the Poolies, Glenn Russell, Dave and Gail Mills, Mick Holder, The Shields clans etc etc........

David is my 'mentor' of sorts... When i first started photogrpahin there last year, he was assigned to keeping me from getting run over by sidecars!!

 

Theres only 3 'regular' photographers that I have seen, that are there for most of the meetings... David, Paul and myself, with a couple of others that are there inconsistently.....

 

But yeah, I have heard stories that it was really hard to get people to even look at your photos, let alone publish them, I am sooooo lucky that anyone even wants to look at mine!!

Yeah Dave is fablous guy indeed he also used to give me some tips as well when i first started off i only last a couple of seasons but he was always there to give any advice and also have a friendly chat about anything pertaining to speedway. He is also universally respected by all his peers and the riders as well not only for his photography skills but also his warmth and easy going nature towards all those who come into contact with him at speedways around the state. If you see him say hello to him for me from Anthony......I might even see you 2 tonight then. P.S. Also Bryan Darby is another great snapper who used to be at Gosford and Parramatta as well.
