Wacky racer
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help please. I am going to Cardiff for the GP this year for the first time and would welcome any advice on where to view from. Being a relative newcomer to speedway (only started watching the Witches this year) but a huge Moto GP, Superbikes fan I want to get the full GP experience so any advice would be great. Chris H
The stadium is quite steep so even if you are in the top tier you are not that far from the track. The first year we went we sat in the middle tier on second bend which was great but after that we have gone in the top tier opposite start gate and enjoyed just as much for quite a few quid less!! crazysue
The last two years I have sat on the first bend, one quite high up, the other lower down, both were great views....next year I am on the second bend in the top tier. Think it doesn't really matter where you sit, the views are great from virtually everywhere.
beercellar
and some of us get to go in the pits as well,(crazy sue) if there lucky
SCB
I have sat in all 3 tiers, anywhere form the 2nd bend to the 4th bend. Worst place is the 2nd bend, bottom tier. No atmposhere at all. The backstraight on the top tier was not so great and the 4th bend has been good twice, once on the front of the 2nd tier and once at the back (nobody sat behind us. Just find out where the Poles are sitting and sit by them pre-meeting the Prince of Wales and Sams Bar are quite good
f-s-p
Can anyone remember how far up are the seats covered on the lower level? At the moment the on-line ticket service is giving me row 17 as the best possible... Wouldn't want to sit on the 1st row =(
pugwash
Nobody would be able to see if you did.

It's the only place I have any complaints about inside the stadium (apart from the abr but thats the same where ever you sit).
f-s-p
We sat near the tapes last time on the bottom tier, I felt they were the best in the house. Only minus was the big screens that we didn't see at all, instead we had our own tv monitor a couple of meters in front of us. Last time I found a sketch of the stadium, cut from the side and I was able to count the rows that were gonna be on, but I've lost it by now. Think it was 22 or something. Wouldn't mind taking the Methanol Club ticket with the overnight stay, but I think I'll get a better value for my money (37£) from L33... "Nobody would be able to see if you did." You are so right! And sitting back row would also make it easier to get seconds and going to the toilet. The long wait for the beer was the reason why my friend missed the "naked runner" the last time. The Know
The best place to veiw from is one of the glass boxes by the start. Very nice indeed.
Pinstripe
Always get my tickets half hour before the meeting, and always up on the top tier. Awesome view IMO. Should be at Sams Bar about 2:00 on the Saturday afternoon again (maybe with Robbo!)
