Guest BilaHora
All I know that we are blessed with a couple (at least) of prominent authors in our midst and I had an idea for a speedway related book. My idea is basically a history of the National League which I believe operated as the second tier of British speedway between 1968 and its unfortunate demise during the amalgamation of 1990-91. I rather think it would make a very interesting read with some great stories and characters. Has it already been done? If it has not, does anyone have any thoughts? KevH
There was a book published called "NL 90" which I guess is pretty close to what you are proposing, although it only covered the 1989 season. The authors were John Callaghan and Kevin Jago and it's first edition was published in April 1990. Hope that is of some help.
