BrizHeathen
Well the season is finally upon us here in South East Queensland. Tonight see's the Gold Coast Sidecar Championship at Labrador with Scott Smith riding in the support solos. Next week we have the Queensland Solo Championships at Gatton (13th Nov) this is the first bike only biggie at the 500 metre venue West of Brisbane..should be a cracker. Then there's the Queensland Sidecar Title at Labrador on December 11th. In between these we also have action at Northgate which is North of Brisbane on 27th Nov. Let the good times roll. BrizHeathen
Not a good start in the not so sunny Sunshine State. Heavy rain caused the cancellation of the scheduled Gold Coast Sidecar Championship. Infact it rained so heavily on the Gold Coast that the Gold Coast Horse Race meeting was abandoned halfway though. Its still raining quite heavily on and off 24 hours later on this not so pleasent Sunday afternoon. Fingers crossed for Gatton on Saturday. dex01
Not a good start in the not so sunny Sunshine State. Heavy rain caused the cancellation of the scheduled Gold Coast Sidecar Championship. How annoying it is to read this when Gosford Opening was postponed because of THIS meeting. And finally this one wasn't run. How was it today? Edited November 8, 2004 by dex01

If its any consolation its still raining heavily here at 7.pm on Monday night, and the loudest thunder I've ever heard in my life.
Guest Sir Lunchalot
Actually Gosford was cancelled because of the long track meeting at Bathurst, not because of Labrador.
dex01
Actually Gosford was cancelled because of the long track meeting at Bathurst, not because of Labrador. Hmmm, interesting, because I read something about lack of permission for Gosford promoters from MA, because of sidecar championship...
