gooner_girl4eva
Well Crumpy is certainly not one of my fav riders and never has been but fair play - he was the best rider of the season so I begrudgingly say well done on being Champ I was glad to hear Sky were so concerned over Ryan's injury tonight, everyone was more bothered that poor Crumpy was waiting for the re-run, infact it took several minutes for them to realise Ryan was still lying on the track. It was a very harsh exclusion on Ryan to be excluded in the re-run and I agree 100% with Ryan that the ref is an idiot Everyone seems to want a guest for Ryan at Poole on Monday I really hope he's fit to ride as it would be great for him if he's fit enough to help the Pirates win the final over both legs but I can see Poole being more than happy to get in someone like Adams (if they are allowed as I don't have a clue over all the guest rules everyone is talking about )

Sloop
At the risk of repeating what has already been said, congratulations to Jason Crump. A well deserved winner ; the most consistent performer in the GP this season.
HenryW
Yeah, I'll add my congratulations to a deserved World Champion. Who can blame him for his tumble during the celebrations? He must have thought he was never going to wrap it up when the red lights came on again. Have to say that it does make me laugh that quite a few people have mentioned that we now have a British born World Champ again....I guess it has been 12 long years for us

SuzieQ
Well Done Jase! At last you have made it to the top! Got really choked when everyone was hugging him and then that special moment with Mia, Mel and then Seth! Thrilled to bits that the Aussies have finally got their name back on the trophy (well, not that it is the same trophy, but you know what I mean!) NOBBY
A British World Champion Well done Crumpy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm sure the whole of Australia will be well chuffed that the new World Champion is British. That must be why he was carrying an Aussie flag... and they just love us Pommies don't they ! Born here he may have been, but he will be the first to tell you he is an AUSSIE. Having said that, he deserves to be No 1 in the world, shame it had to be under such wierd circumstances. I thought that they were going to give him the trophy while he was sitting on the ground having "stacked it" celebrating.

HenryW
12? Or are you counting Loramski as Maltese? Well, if you are going to try and claim Jason as British then I guess you would have to.

Born to British Parents whilst his father was serving in the British Army in Malta does not make him Maltese! Jason Born to Aussie parents whilst living in Britain makes him dual nationality but has made it perfectly clear in the past his win(s) are for Australia either way he's World Champ

Jason Born to Aussie parents whilst living in Britain makes him dual nationality but has made it perfectly clear in the past his win(s) are for Australia either way he's World Champ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BUT HE IS STILL NOT BRITISH BORN. JASON CRUMP WAS BRTISH BORN AS HE COMES FROM BRISTOL. Henry W said British born, Norbold asked was he leaving out Mark Loram so I pointed out of course he was leaving out Mark Loram as he was not born in Britiain. Nothing in there about being/not being British, Maltesse or Australian! Why don't people actually read what is wrote rather than scan through it and only get the jist?! (thats twice this morning!)
