TwoMinuteWarning
Talking to friends at Wimbledon this week about what a fine rider he was, but no one could remember when he died, can anyone help? And was it his wife who killed him? Thanks

PolskiZuzel
...no one could remember when he died, can anyone help? And was it his wife who killed him? Yes, it was his 2nd wiffe, Katarzyna, who stabbed him to death early January 1992. Apparently, the stabbing happened during a furious row between the two of them that ended in a tragedy. Eddy reportedly was at the influence of alcohol at the time of this incident. he suffered three knife wounds to his upper body. It was the third that severed a main artery in his shoulder, causing extensive bleeding and his death at around 8pm of 11 January 1992.
