andy moore
Can someone tell me if its ole olsen who is ordering the dirt to be taken off the tracks to suit the danes,or does he believe that all riders like slick tracks.I know what dirt there is moves out in the later stages but by then its too late for riders like loram or wildcards to progress as they are already out. What would happen if the track curator ignored ole and prepared a track suitable for everyone, you just have to look at gollob to see why -hes done nothing this year i wonder why. They also wanted to put more dirt on the outside lines but once again Olsen didn't allow and therefore the track was pretty slick.
Kevin Meynell
Can someone tell me if its ole olsen who is ordering the dirt to be taken off the tracks to suit the danes,or does he believe that all riders like slick tracks. He apparently believes that hard, slick tracks produce closer racing. Of course, he also once suggested putting chicanes on the bends to 'improve' the racing as well! sandman
this is not a dig at Ole, but i think he preferred slick tracks in his time, although he i think was quite good on the deep ones. but in my opinion, slick tracks will be the ruin of speedway, it evens the odds for the mediocore riders that can gate..slick tracks = boring.. simple really.
