Guest Janezek
yep.. but not so much... there's not so many foreigners as last year (i'm talkin about visitors of racin) camping at parkplace near tenniscourts... i hope they'll come this night or maybe tommorow morning... as i've read at slovenian speedway forum and their talkin unfortunately just about MatejZagar's drive today (as expected on slovenian forum... ) but... there're also some words about other appearance of drivers... i'll try to translate.. The practice before the tommorow's race was without any problems and complications.. The track was a bit harder than on a race before (Zavarovalnica Triglav Cup) The most "active" drivers were Hancock, Andersen, Lee Richardson and Jonsson, but the driver who's shown most on track was Jason Crump... We'd seen that most of the others were still trying to adapt on racetrack. (especially the drivers from the bottom of the GP-standing table). They (discussioners) thought that driver who has most of chances to win is Jason Crump. Matej Žagar also presented a very good races, in some moments he also came closer to the wall as Crump before. Matej also had some great duels, as with Hampl. If Matej drive a bit better than today, he'll have some great opportunities to come closer to the winning podium,.. Šantej drove as for him usual... nothing special.. if i drive as last last, it'll be a great success i'm sorry for my translation, but i tried my best to translate the meanings of slovenian disscusors.. (it's somehow direct translation, and it's not used so much for slovenian language (direct translation..)... take care
Queen Bee
thanks for that... I was interested in how Andreas Jonsson had ridden. Are you going tomorrow night to the GP?

tomazpozrl
Hi guys I saw today's practice in Krsko (Janezek took some of the stuff he translated on here from my report on slovenian forum) and I was pretty satisfied with what I saw. The track today was pretty smooth but organizers told me that it will be much more grippier tommorow so hopefully we will see another excellent Slovenian GP. I was particularly impressed with Crumpie and for me he is number one favourite for a win tommorow. Jonsson was also riding very fast and if the meeting will develop as it should I expect Jonsson to qualify to the final. As Janezek has mentioned all slovenian speedway fans' hopes lay on Matej Zagar. He was testing 3 bikes with diferent set-ups today and was pretty satisfied with the way practice went. I really hope he can do something big tommorow. We would be very satisfied if he reaches semifinals, anything more than that would be FENOMENAL !!! GO MATTY !!!!! Mick Dundee
I can see tomorrows meeting being nobodies but Crump's. He's so focused and i just think its his year! Jonsson is impressive so i think hes due a good one, as is Nicki Pedersen, but this is SGP and anything can happen. Either way i think this one will be one of the best GP's of the season. He's still in a geat position and a win in Ploand will just about wrap it up.

Excuses can soon run out as the lead dwindles under pressure.
