So you can drop the "we are superior attitude"

A comment which to me GM sounds like a statement of a slightly 'superior attitude' if you dont mind me saying that is Sir.

I think you'll find its this post originally two paragraphs long and posted at 12.26

amended at 12.53, 20 minutes later and missing some 40 odd words! with about 10 new ones thrown in no doubt when you'd realised what you'd written was rubbish and had a think

Kind of ruins the spontaneous nature of our banter don't you think, i know you were up early but.

I think other people have a problem with YOUR arrogance so i'll leave it to Diamond Gem to take up the baton whilst i go and give darling another push!

Thank You Philip for that. I was simply relating an opinion from a former world champion who I have connections with. I stated it was his opinion. I was accused of not telling the truth by a Dane when Andersen is culpable according to many of that.

So far as a result I am 'inept and and zenophobic'. fair enough. If that is what thay think. I do object however strongly and emphatically to being called a liar.

To be fair you weren't a liar, you just handled it badly!

we in generally do not tell lies and 'cheat' in this country could be that you have so much of it in your home land you think that everyone is the same perhaps and you have a natural instinct to trust no ones word.

er that is!

But remember its only mine and diamond gems opinion

You Hansi fans all need to chill out.If we don't want to like him,we won't.Simple.Too hard to understand ? It's not Xenophobia at all.We just don't like what he did in heat 25 of the world cup.

Pots and kettles here Phillip

I am not a fan of Hans Andersen...never have been and never will be. Nobody is asking you to like him but this continual bleating about what he may have done in the SWC is wearing just a tad thin now and at any given opportunity people are just bad mouthing for the sake of it.

The SWC happened weeks ago. Just how long do we have to put up with the same old drivel day in day out

we didn't have the luxury of having sky tv putting ideas in our heads, We lost that meeting through bad luck, bad gates etc..not through cheating.

There was no need for Sky to put ideas in anyone's heads - what Hans did was as plain as day. And in my case the case against Hans is for cheating, not robbing GB of the SWC.

Have you been listening to that idiot Havelock this evening by any chance

What, the idiot that rode his heart out for his country, you mean. Havvy says it how it is & 9 out of 10 times is right on the money. One of the most well respected riders within the sport. The only idiot is you.

At least i don't keep going on and on about Hans. It's done and it can't be changed no matter how much you bitch about it. As for calling me an idiot, well i suggest you look at the crap you are posting

So let me get this right. You are absolutley certain that Hans didn't cheat & that Havvy didn't ride his heart out for Team GB in the World Cup, or that he he isn't one of the most well respected riders amongst his peers?

Very perceptive.

The first one is open to debate currently running to 58 pages on another thread.

The second one is without question correct, despite being flawed IMO one cannot deny he bust a gut for team GB but i DO remember (which you may not) Havelock saying he would never ride for Team GB when DJ was in charge.............hightly patriotic.

As for being well respected, some like him some don't but the look on his face on Saturday night come 9pm was amusing, looked like he'd just swallowed a wasp :D

Please quote me where i have slated Havvy for the way he rode. I have not done that nor would i. I do feel however that he was going OTT on Saturday with his constant references to it. That is my opinion and if that makes me an idiot then so be it.

GM, I do indeed recall him saying that he would never race for England again whilst DJ was in charge. I suspect however, that may have been in response to the very public slating that Jessup gave him.

Wonder why he wasn't in charge of the team for very long?

And in terms of some liking him & some not, I am not refeering to fans. We all have aour favourites & that is the way it will always be, but there is little doubt that he is respected almost universally by his fellow riders.

And, yes, the look on his face ( & Chris Louis') at the end of the programme was funny - they were not amused!

And Rotski, I accept you didn't question his approach at the SWC, but in the post I quoted, you didn't slate Havelock for waht he was saying/doing. You just slated him. Nor am I questioning your right to your opinion, we all have that right, which is why people are still referring to the incident in the SWC. However, if you are going to slate someone, at least try & justify it.

Having said all of that - well done to Hans, he deserved his win on the day - no question.

BTW Rotski, I do like your sig - reminds me of my relationship with my PC :D

Well as an leading campaigner for people "to tell it like it is" i'd have thought he would have welcomed his managers comments do you not think :P

England or team GB whatever they are called were very poor in the period no question, sadly through years of neglect at the very top!

I think you'll find i was referring to his peers, and the fans!

It's nice to see that despite your dislike of HA you acknowledge a good performance, well bowled sir an attitude that does you credit, its apity some of the other whingers on here can't accept that even if they don't like him etc, he did bloody well on saturday!
