tomazpozrl
Matej Zagar and Izak Santej have been nominated as wild cards for Grand Prix of Slovenia on September 4th.
Wackie
Matej's going to be a spoiler at this one thats for sure. Was hoping to get over to Slovenia to watch this one, but unfortunately other priorities have cropped up You'll have to cheer twice as loud for Matej Tomaz to make up for us Wackies who can't make it there. SCB
Izak Santej Who? And to think people said Phil Morris was not worthy of a wildcard!
Cornishman
Matej did trelawny proud last year at the slovenian GP and this year he will do even better COME ON MATEJ

JT
Am I the only one suprise at the lack of inclusion of former GP rider Matej Ferjan? I know he is riding on a Hungarian licence but I dont believe this Santej guy is Slovenian is he?

jill
Izak Santej Who? And to think people said Phil Morris was not worthy of a wildcard! ive heard of him aint he rode on a GP before if not where do i know his name from
SCB
I've heard of him but my point is why is Phil Morris such a ludicrous idea as a wild card yet Izak Santej is not? Whats the difference? BTW, where's Sandor Tihanyi? Surely the Hungarians won't turn up now?

tomazpozrl
To all of you asking who is Izak Santej : he is definitely Slovenian - he is in fact 7 times Slovenian vice champion !!! He rode in Slovenian GP in 2002 and 2003 (finished in 17th place) and is also a regular member of slovenian world team cup squad.
iris123
Might have been better giving the wildcard to Martin Smolinski to get lots of Germans buying tickets
Paleco
Might have been better giving the wildcard to Martin Smolinski to get lots of Germans buying tickets Why don"t you ask the danes or brits to give him wild card?
iris123
Wouldn`t work,i think they have enough good riders to fill the 2 wildcard places
rabbit
Wasnt there a MEGA falling out between Matej F and the Slovenian authorities?? Think so...sure I remember reading that the Slovenians did ask Matej Ferjan to ride in something for them recently but he declined. Doesn't look like they've all kissed and made up either yet if he's not a Wild Card.
