Rico
Got back last night after a few days in Berlin post GP. Another fantastic time had in Bydgoszcz and it was great to meet up with a lot of fellow forumites as well as lots of friendly locals. Big public thanks to Mateusz Kulka for assisting greatly in our seating requirements. Also thanks to your friends Mateusz who made some room for the rest of our Edinburgh crew and made them feel very welcome indeed. Will do a bit of a Bydgoszcz diary piece when I've got more time. Rico ps B52, get those photos sent asap

sjw ministerofport
Thanks for all of your help our first trip to Bydgoszcz was great. Bumped into five really nice people from Coventry but only one forum member. We stayed until the 22nd having three nights at Warsaw and found it very interesting. The speedway was great. We tried a lot of Polish food from local bars to a top resturant called the Fukeirer or something like that the cheapest was £5 for two and the dearest £60. Met Sophie what a lovely lady, also had a chat to Ole Olsen a charming man evn though he used to ride for Wolves.

Guest JY2003
Thanks Beercellar - I owe you. If you say you didn't get legless then why did you put "Hick" at the end off the postie card (Caught you out). You mean you havent met Sophie Blake before? The polish lady not giving you tickets, was that coz you was drunk or coz she didnt speak English? Papa's Webshots <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some great photographs Papa. I was sitting 3/4 rows down from you and just a few feet to your right. I recognise several of the people in your photos including one of the people I met from Leszno. Good to see that Matt from Rye House made it to the drinks party on Friday evening (photo number 21). Addy
Torun lovely place The Stadium is a good size, and unlike most Briitsh Stadia, has seating all around . Each sector was well filled around the excellent racing track. The sector in which our party was seated was almost full as were the others. How many tracks sell advance tickets for their regular meetings. And the lovely blue skies, plus the thrill of watching Crumpy, Ricardsson, PP and the Gollobs all racing on the same track with others such as Zabbik (beat T Gollob twice) - wonderful. Need I say more ? Nice Vodka Edited September 23, 2004 by Addy
