I won't comment because I didn't see it either, but a friend of mine who was in Wroclaw told me that she thinks both Lindback's and Zagar's exclusions were referee's mistake. Both were on the inside, and Poles (Miskowiak and Miedzinski) leaned on them because otherwise they would most certainly fall - but for some strange reason, Lindback and Zagar were excluded.

This is the correct info. Thanks for backing me up.

To be honest watching on TV the Zagar exclusion was plain wrong, however the Linback one was a tough one for the ref to call as the Pole had the drop on Linback and was a wheel ahead when he started turning into the corner, however then Linback still tried to force his way up the inside and there was elbow contact between the 2 and Linback lost control and took them both down.

Tbh having seen the replay a few times i think that Linback was correctly exluded as like in the SWC he was trying to force things to happen where a wiser head would have backed off. Maybe Linbacks reputation will give him problems now with refs and riders??

However seeing how poor the racing was at Wroclaw maybe Linback thought if he didnt get into the lead on the first turn he wouldnt be able to pass the Pole so thats why he tried to hoof the Pole out of the way.

I watched the meeting and have o say that the track was setup for the Poles.

And yes, the Lindback decision was absolutely disgraceful and no wonder he was so upset. Miskowiak leaned all over lindback causing the Swede to fall. Total wrong decision and it robbed Antonio a shot at the title.

If you get to see the incident you will see what I mean.

As for the result, well justice was done in the final if you can call it that when Miskowiak won. He was leading before the race was stopped first time so it was only fair for him in the end.

The Polish authorities certainly know how to set up the track for their own riders. Shame we couldn't do the same the last time the event was held in GB.

I am told from one who was there that Lindbaeck actually fenced Miskowiak and the decission from the ref. was OK.

No No No!

That is absolute rubbish! Didn't you watch it on TV? It was on satellite. Lindback was clearly leaned on to such an extent he had to fall. The ref got it wrong.

I don't begrudge the guy his title. The Poles set the track up perfectly for their home riders, but to have the ref side with the home guys as well does give them a bit of an unfair advantage.

I can't recieve Polish SAT channels. But as I said I was told that Lindbaeck was on the inside of Moskowiak and lost control of the bike, as he often does, and then fenced Miskowiak.

I just wonder what match you have been seeing, as my informations are from two different sources watching the match in live.

I watched the Final on TV, and in my opinion Lindback was at fault in the semi.

Sure there was some elbowing going on, but the fact is that Miskowiak was in the lead going into the bend, Lindback tried a wild burst up the inside and lost control resulting in both riders coming off. Clearly Lindback hit Miskowiak it was not the other way round.

As for the track being set up for the Poles, yes I agree, but did not the Danes do the same for the World cup last year.
