djp Posted August 9, 2004 Report Share Posted August 9, 2004 Would just like to plug Alan Jones new book Speedway in Leicester "The Hunters Era".A superb record of this time at Leicester Speedway with all results & records of riders.It really brought home to me when looking at points scored what a brilliant rider "Hurri-Ken McKinlay" was. Gemini Posted August 10, 2004 Report Share Posted August 10, 2004 After ploughing through several speedway books recently, Sam Ermolenko "Breaking the Limits", Billy Hamill's "No Bull" and the equally famous King Jamie's "10th Yer Baws", I'm now reading Alan's book at the moment and agree it is very interesting, particularly for any ex-Hunters/Lions fans.
