TwoMinuteWarning
Have to agree that the WTC at Poole was one of the best speedway trips I have been on. The organization, the weather, the incidents, the drama, and - best of all - some superb racing. Couldn't fault any of it! I had standing tickets for both meetings - and got a seat AND table inside the back straight stand, and a mere 30-seconds walk from the bar! What more could I ask for??!! I know we lost, but the effort put in by all the GB boys was magnificent. Also want to give credit to our team manager. Middlo must inject our boys with something red, white, and blue I reckon - the pride they all show when wearing the Union Flag is outstanding. Well, if no other country wants the World Cup next year ... can we have it at Poole again, please?
Guest FastGater
I know this is hard to believe but i'm gonna have to agree with something Steve Shovlar said a few weeks ago. We travelled to Bournemouth on Friday and had a lovely weekend by the sea, enjoying the weather. Can't say I would have done the same anywhere else! "and kids" is very worrying please don't do that to me! If you were gonna do your name dropping you should have named all 8 of them too! You were a joy to have down here and are welcome back at anytime! Though maybe on your next visit you can leave your kids at home and enjoy the evening more at speedway without worrying about them! You should try to get a weekend pass in September, meet me at Arena on the Friday for Leigh Lanhams Testimonial, come back down to Poole with me on the Saturday, stay for the ELRC on the Sunday and travel home on the Monday! If she can't get a pass for the whole weekend Tabs, she already has the offer of a lift to the ELRC - so come on, let's gang up on her. Tabby If she can't get a full weekend pass - couldn't you extend your hospitality to her escort? It's a long way back to Kent and they would be able to have a drink and enjoy themselves before going home. I remember Poole is a great place to have fun at the ELRC

Oh Sue that is so sad! You need your space, tell him that! As a question to all the married women out there: Am I the only one here that has a fantastic husband that lets me go off to whatever speedway meetings I want to go to, and even pays for some of them? Also, if I want to go to Oxford and don't fancy the drive back alone, he will take me up there!!!!!!!!!! Anyway Sue, you have to come back down to Poole again as I didn't get to see you on Saturday! and that was after you came in the entrance where Shaz and I were working too! Shame on you! crazysue
Well my hubby certainly won't let me go off to anything, it takes months of discussion, threats etc etc. think he is worried what I may get upto without him there Sorry about Saturday Tabby, we were in a mad rush to get to the fitst corner and when I did come back you was sooooo busy I thought it best to leave you alone, we did try and find you afterwards though but with no luck. I would love to be at Poole for the ELRC but will have to see what the money does as we are going to Scotland just under 2 weeks later for Frede Schott's testimonial, and boy is that going to be an expensive weekend.
