But maybe that suits in some way. Excuse me?.....Trees and I are good mates and we have our banter every week at KL (note the smilies in my post), and don't quite see how that concerns you. Maybe I'm missing something here, I didn't realise that because I am British, I HAVE to support my country's team. Or is this another daft new ruling the BSPA have brought in? And for the record I don't really think there was any need to get personal in your posting. Thought this was a forum for open discussion, maybe I was wrong all along. Perhaps Phil ought to change the registration details to include a clause stating that you have to support Team GB only to qualify for membership. FROM KING'S LYNN FORUM POSTED BY STEVE HONE sorry you feel this way and i'll point something out... there was someone in this house tonight supporting the Danes and it wasn't me or Sarah. the best team on the night was quite obviously the Swedes as they won the meeting. i wanted the Brits to win tonight.. i like Loram but not any of the others, but thats still one more than any of the other teams had that i like. i am a speedway fan first and foremost and will say it as i see it...not what other people are telling me i should be saying or thinking. i used to support Wimbledon FC and would sit front row behind the goal at Selhurst and slag off Shearer, Cole, Beckham, Owen etc for 9 months of the year.... there was no way come an international match i was then going to start cheering for them... yes, i want my nation to win, but i'm not going overboard with flags and high hopes of something that is a waste of time (it's why i don't support Lynn ).. i will sit and watch and tell it as it is WHEN they lose. mentioned tonight that the last world cup win at speedway was 1989... for the 'big speedway nation' that's kinda worrying don't you think? That is the most sensible thing posted on here within the last 24 hours. I will support who i want and it's got sod all to do with anyone else.
