daveccm
I can't believe this one is still running The last time I looked he was either injured or frightened to come back So what has happened in the meantime? As its run to 55 pages already maybe its a bit complicated to put in a nutshell
SCB
As it has run to 55 pages some people must find it relevant! As it is, the thread has gone off in a non-Hans Andersen direction now, so why get so worried about it? If you have a problem with 55 page threads why bother looking at them? Dave the Mic
blimey calm down guys - why the SCB witch hunt??? You know what?.. he can't MAKE us do anything and the post providing the (public information) addresses, for me, just represented the frustration that many of us were feeling I still feel that our favourite rider has got away scott free and until the sport gets some balls in dealing with incidents - who is going to get the message across better than the fans? Just come back to the forum having moved house & no net connection - can't believe this is still running, but having moved on slightly! Agree with you Splatty, company addresses & contact details are freely available on the net, phone book, companies house, etc., etc., So how is publishing their contact details "irresponsible"? That's ridiculous. In addition, as Splatty rightly says, if you feel that you must act on SCB's post, well that's up to the individual, not him. And I suspect if anyone felt that strongly about contacting one of Andersen's sponsors they wouldn't need prompting!
Angeldk
Andersen comes over here to Britain learns his trade, is helped by people like Nicholls at Ipswich. OK PK I think would have won, but Andersen to do that does leave a sour taste in the mouth. Not only a dirty rider , but a cheat as well. Ipswich fans at the Scott Nicholls testimonial were only telling me he is getting dirty and to be honest you get the feeling they wouldn't miss him. So who is gonna sign Rempala - what a hero ! Go home Andersen - Well done Sweden a deserved victory - and well done to all riders for a thoroughly entertaining world cup. sorry, but get over it... and forget about Hans coming over here to learn.. he has been riding since he was 3. I know there has been loads of trouble , but face it, the danes ride hard, but fair. Dont You think the danes were disappointed? and as for showing true colours.. well he was riding for Denmark wasnt he, and sadly they just werent up to it. It is neccesary to ride hard if You want to get anywhere in this sport, and of course it is important not to hurt eachother, but noone got hurt. lets hope that next year the best will win. My regards to crazy, Krissie, and everyone else that makes it all happen... xxxxx
Angeldk
Well Done Hans. You rode brill. . Obviously the Swedes paid the Danes more than the Brits paid the Danes. Obviously the Brits spent all their money on the ref finally.... SO overdue...
garf
Hiya Angel! Happy to see you fighting for the honour of the real vikings. And yes, you are so right. The final was one big disappointment for the Viking-riders, and us supporters as well. I too believe there is a few Brits mixing facts together. There is a big difference in riding dirty and riding hard. Speedway is not a Sunday school class, but if you are not a pupil in this class, you don't have to be dirty, has you ? Top speedway-riders are riding on the edge all the time, so accidents will occur frequently. cya somewhere on the tracks.

crazysue
Yeeeeessssssss, shouted myself hoarse, excellent final, pity that this was the first time I didn't put a bet on Hans as I spent it all in Poole.
Guest Proud to sponsor Hans
Whatever all the talk is on this Board about sponsors and Hans - I can confirm that Poole Tourism have been right behind him for the last three years and over the last fortnight in particular. I received a few e-mails from people asking us to withdraw sponsorship. We remain absolutely supportive of a guy who has worked darned hard for us - What a fab response tonight - congrats matey from all your friends at Poole Tourism .... and thanks for showin your legs so well to the cameras on the lap of honour ! 2005 support is assured ... Brightonbob
Really? I would imagine teh sports governors are sick in that this moron ruined the world showcase and then pulls off a fluke in the next GP to mean they will probably have to give him a ticket. This guy did huge damage to the sport and sponsoring him seems little short of deranged.
Brian
The World Cup is over.... past... gone.... why can people not let it go? Hans won the GP last night because he was the best rider on the night. To try and interfere with someone's livelihood by contacting sponsors I personally find more than a little worrying. What is even more gut-wrenching is that the post apparently came from someone within Poole Tourism! says a lot about Poole really, the fact that it states they have stood by him over the past few weeks with everything that happened at POOLE, that affected TEAM GB and the same manager for both clubs is from the POOLE area - yet they stand behind a Dane............... Personally, I cannot see that Hans showing off Poole Tourism on his kevlars will do much for bringing people to Poole for their holidays! Lanzilla
We all had a dig at Hans for the WTC race that Scotty would never have won anyway, but it isn't fair to have a dig at Poole Tourism. They have sponsored Hans for a few years now and nobody was moaning about it when he rode for us. We very nearly had him in our team at the start of the season but had to go with Lyons instead. Seems most people know the reason for that. For all his arrogance, Hans is a top rider and for me he is top Dane. I'm a big fan of Bjarne but feel he lacks that little bit of extra aggression needed to be the best. Hans will get his place in the GP series next season, and if he continues to progress the way he has year after year, then he will be challenging for the title either next year or the year after. A controversial character but a flippin good rider.

Robyn1972
The World Cup is over.... past... gone.... why can people not let it go? Because too many people in this country are poor losers who cannot accept being beaten. When as a nation we are able en masse to start taking responsibility for not doing well enough, we will improve massively in the World standings in many sports as there will be a great drive to improve via training of youngsters etc.

Hans was great entertainment when he rode for us and is just getting better and better. Screw the controversy surrounding him - he's proving he'd got the ability to win at the highest level. If only the hassle behind the scenes that prevents him lining up for us would go away, it would be nice to see him back for Poole and i'd have no problem with him in our line-up.
