Racer X
Have to say if Scotty had passed Karlsson I would have been amazed. Scotty didn't have any form from the back on the night - PK did - we should take defeat gracefully and not grizzle about Hans Andersen , who will have truly shafted his repuatation in this country by a needless shut off. Dave the Mic
Iggy, Mark would have won the title anyway. Shooting Star, it's not sour grapes, it's called cheating. End of story.
Guest JY2003
Well Done Hans. You rode brill. . Obviously the Swedes paid the Danes more than the Brits paid the Danes. Edited August 7, 2004 by JY2003
PTDragons
Congratulations to Sweden and well done to Great Britain on a superb performance, I hope that "muppet" with the camera that cost Scott NIcholls a point feels bad now. As for Hans Andersen, as well as becoming another Pedersen with his dangerous riding, he shuts off to allow P.K to pass him - disgraceful. In his interview with Sophie he said he didn't see P.K !! - he only looked across twice down the back straight - don't think so Hans

JT
I couldn't care less about the launguage rules on this thread, Hans Andersen is a cheating ###### who spoilt one of the best ever International meetings by throwing the race, Shooting Star wake up and smell the coffee the man is a cheating pillock who let Karlsson through, how is that speedway? I have now lost any respect for him now, the meeting was superb (Havelock and Rempala was one of the best races I have ever seen on Sky) and Andersen has to go a spoil it all by blatently throttling off and letting Karlsson threw, OK Karlsson was in a favourable position to finish second at the time but that was only due to Andersen shutting Nicholls of on the first bend, if he didn't want to race then he should have let one of his team mates have the honour of representing his country! KevH
Ipswich fans at the Scott Nicholls testimonial were only telling me he is getting dirty and to be honest you get the feeling they wouldn't miss him. And neither would British Speedway - let's drive the #rat out!!!!
fireblade
Oh well, at least we can laugh at Olsen, Denmark were never in it.
SCB
In his interview with Sophie he said he didn't see P.K !! - he only looked across twice down the back straight - don't think so Hans EXACTLY. IF HE CAN TELL LIES ONCE, WHY NOT AGAIN. Hans "spining my ** off" Andersen
garf
Hang on, didn't Joe Screen slow down the race the year Mark Loram won the world title? Yes, they're both Brits, however Hans is not a Swede!!! Have you seen his family tree ? What you are saying is: As long it is between fellow countrymen then it is OK to do so ? xDx
Gotta agree with SS - sour grapes. Hans did let him by but I still doubt Scotty would have been able to get near PK, he was flying all night. He's still a dirty sod mind. Agreed. That's Speedway! pugwash
Every British Speedway promoter should now black ball the scumbag. Don't want to ever see him ride in Britain again. This as taken Danish cheating to a new level. I hope he enjoys his brown envelope.
Shortcrust
Shooting Star wake up and smell the coffee the man is a cheating pillock who let Karlsson through, how is that speedway? As I stated once before 'sour grapes'
Guest Jim Blanchard
Have a look on the performance of the Danes through the whole match. When we gated well, we could not hold the speed and ended third or last. So why should heat 25 be a difference ? 'Cos basically Garf they were not world class tonight and they thought even though they were out classed they would have some impact on the outcome of the meeting. 'We did not win but we decided who would' great slogan for the great nation of Denmark and its sportsman.
Guest Milly
Scumbag Andersen - After all British speedway does for you, you kick it in the slats. PK didn't need your help, you just really take the p**s. DIRTY CHEAT - GO HOME

stevehone
seem to recall the Aussies doing something very similar at the World Cup Final at Coventry... was that 1999?? think it was Crump that 'threw' the meeting so ENGLAND didn't win that night... good to see he was blackballed by all the UK promoters
