Play offs on Thursday

Recommended Posts

We know that Sweden, Australia, Poland and the Czech Republic are contesting the play offs on Thursday, so who do we think will go through?

The obvious choices would be Sweden and Australia, but i think the Aussies will struggle with Shields in the Team. I'd go with Schlein if it was up to me.

I wouldn't under estimate the Czechs either as both the Drymls go well at Poole as did Bo Brhel on his last visit.

Track should suit the Poles as well.

It's gonna be a cracker!! ;)

Travis McGowan should be considered too - his form has been a revelation of late!

Now KH

be discreet

We were talking about this last night........They should give Rory a go!

If i remember rightly he has done OK at Poole for the Aces and Im sure he'd be REALLY up for it!

I dont think Neil Street will take the risk (yes its a risk.......but if it comes off it will in a big way) though

Rory is in HOT form at the moment and i feel he could probably do a very good job for the Aussies!

Well, my prediction is that Sweden is gonna win it tomorrow, with Aussies second, but hopefully after some fight from Poles. I do expect Poles to put more fight than in Eastbourne, and Poole track better suits most of them. But at the end I do not think they will make it to the finals. That doesn’t mean that I’m not going to cheer for them.

All things consider, we going to have a hell of the match on Thursday, cannot wait.

Who would make way for Rooboy then - not Johno :o

Sullivan I reckon.

Trouble is if Kenneth and Rory ride in the same races in the final - they might accidently find themselves team-riding -which they do so well :)

Don't give up hope til the end. I think the Poles are a serious threat to the Aussies. The Poles will go much better, and the Czechs will take points off the more favoured riders. If the Poles can get a Czech between them and the Aussies, particularly the bottom two, then they will go very close.

I'm sure you must be missing a big smiley emoticon there.

Drop Poole's highest averaged rider for a meeting round his recently adopted home track ?? :o

If Sheilds struggles as badly as has been suggested around Poole, then I'd be tempted to bring in Boyce or Schlein - a big ask for either rider, but a challenge I'm sure both would relish.

They could always go for Lyons I suppose - plenty of experience on that track this year

Rico
