He tipped Australia to go straight through tonight.

He was saying that for him it all came together last night, he got the gates, set up etc. right, especially after the WTC in Sheffield a few years back.

It's great that for the first time Middlo has a squad to select that is not depleted by injuries.

He thinks that sky showing speedway live has it's advantages and disadvantages. Good in that it is getting it more publicity, but bad in the fact that when live meetings are on, the numbers are down at the tracks as people are staying at home to watch it.

How's that for starters?

I feel like I'm on the generation game.........cuddly toy.......ehmmmm...decanter and glasses

They also touched upon the subject of ice speedway......but the noise level had increased so much by that time in my house I couldn't hear what was said.

Guest Steve Dixon

Was a good interview.

Steve, he just explained about the WC qualifiers, gave the final a plug and a couple of personal snippets, also touched on dwindling crowds because of so much live speedway but also said the live stuff was a good move.

Oh and said he turned down a offer of ice speedway years back. :D
