Steve Shovlar
I think personally that Lindback's inclusion into the GP's has come 2 years too early.I think he will struggle to cope next year. He wont get all the help like he did at the SWC. I might be wrong but its my opinion , and its not an anti Poole thing We will see. I think in two years time Lindback will be a top 5 rider and a real threat for the title.

-DelBoyRodders-
Hans had a bit of a paddy on the centre green when his bike packed up according to the updates on the Poole site. Regardless of what he has or hasn't done...his points he scored should have seen him through. Very unlucky to lose out to an engine failure. I'm gutted for him. Â What goes round............... Brightonbob
I'm not anti-you at all JY. Never have been. But blokes can't ever work women out, let alone a woman with a severe Danish speedway fetish who is a newsgroup junkie. Â I think we all salute you really. Crackers you may be, but at least you're crackers about speedway.

Guest JY2003
Everyone is entitled to post their opinion but when it comes to picking on someone all the time... Don't the mods have to do something about it? I've got other problems to deal with, i don't want to deal with this as well

If things don't go his way in a race he throws his toys out - big time, and that is just in EL meetings!  At the moment Antonio is the Tomasz Gollob of 95/96 and needs to calm his eratic riding quickly before he becomes as disliked as Tomasz was! KevH
If things don't go his way in a race he throws his toys out - big time, and that is just in EL meetings! At the moment Antonio is the Tomasz Gollob of 95/96 and needs to calm his eratic riding quickly before he becomes as disliked as Tomasz was! Words of wisdom, and it's a pleasure to see a Poole supporter telling it the way it really is.  Yes, he has talent, but charisma is something he is sadly lacking in - it's never too late to try to change, but if he leaves it much longer never could come around. Can't agree with you there Tabby.  Antonio has been fantastic all season and rides with passion and enthusiasm which is typical of one so young. The only problem he has is from the gate when he does buck and rear on occasions.  Some of his overtaking moves have been quite brilliant this season and he sticks to his bike like Cegielski did when he was riding for Poole.  You probably haven't forgiven Antonio for bumping into Boycie in the WTC, where to be honest, many riders were riding over the edge. You only have to look back at Havvys' comments.  Wherever Antonio rides next season he will be a credit to the Elite League.  Speedway has changed with the coverage of Sky, and a whole new wave of hungry up and coming riders are trying to make a name for themselves. How wrong you are there Lanzilla! By the way, it is Boycey...! I swear people spell it wrong just to get my goat up!!  I can see the potential within Antonio, but unlike others I can also see the down side to him, not only in his riding but also his attitude off track! I am a people watcher, I love to sit and just watch what people are up to and how they act etc, the party after the SWC was a prime time to watch this and see how people reacted, most of which I shall not go into here but it amazed me how all the Swedish Team partied the night away in their kevlars, yet Antonio had to shower and change into his designer gear before he could mingle.....! rabbit
but it amazed me how all the Swedish Team partied the night away in their kevlars, yet Antonio had to shower and change into his designer gear before he could mingle.....! Think that says more about the rest of the Swedish team than it does about Antonio! Can't see what's wrong with wanting to be clean and looking good after spending hours in sweaty kevlars on a hot afternoon/evening. Think I'd do exactly the same thing as him!  He's young, has rough edges and just wants to win. I remember a certain Scotty Nicholls a few years ago...not quite the finished article we're now proud to have as our national captain!! Give the lad time - he'll calm down. Just a bit worried about Lanzilla's comments about 'whichever team he rides for next year'...damn well better be Poole or else!!! Steve Shovlar
I just don't see any problem with Lindback. A young lad who wants to ride to win and is showing his potential. Yes he bucks and rears at the gate, but he is not a danger and is superb at passing as well as gating.  As for having a shower then coming into the bar, what on earth is wrong with that?  I am sure he will be at Poole next year. Not only is he a brilliant talent, but has bags of charisma as well. A very likeable and approachable guy who has time for the fans, as well as all the girlies!
Guest richtea78
If Nicki gets criticised for his personal hygiene at times then maybe Lindback is trying to avoid that. I think its a bit harsh to make out having a shower is a bad thing - so he doesnt like being dirty and smelly  I think hes exactly what the sport needs - he is arrogant and cocky but then again he has a bit of character. I like that in him even if he winds me up. I love to see him get beaten purely because he is arrogant but it means that I am watching speedway. He also does have a bit of "flair" to him which TBH is something that a lot of riders are missing.
