gooner_girl4eva
Wish Sky were showing this match, what a cut throat meeting its going to be. I would love to see Floppy make it through, he would be so chuffed - just hope his bikes dont let him down and that lady luck is with him. PK has got to be one of the other favourites and love the comment about would he possibly help Hans make it through...we should wait and see I think if Hans doesn't make it in the final 2 that he'll probably be chosen to be a permanent wildcard for the GP's as there will be only Nicki representing the Danes so he'll defo be chosen in my opinion. Also, looking forward to see how Lindback and Iversen do, great riders with loads of potential, they could pull a few surprises.
FlyinRyan
Will Hans Andersson ride or not though. Without dragging old news up he is apparently injured and so might miss it. I cant say Ill be upset either as Ill be rooting for Floppy to qualify He'll have to perform a whole lot better than he did last Saturday. FlyinRyan
I guess Ulamek is out so does that mean Stuart Robson gets a chance as first reserve?

Its just a shame your mate Ryan isnt riding as given his current form the only flying he should be doing is back to Australia. If I was an Oz fan Id be extremely annoyed with his performance at the WTC but Im not so I was glad to see him so crap and them take the early bath

He only scored 3 points less than "Throttle Hans of God Andersen" who had 1 ride more. Personally thought Norris's performance on Saturday was ok, although I'm sure he probably thought he could do better - lets hope his frustration is converted into points and a 2005 GP place this weekend. Fair enough but I was under the impression that a racer wanted to win no matter what the circumstances. I guess thats the mistake I was making

Well that's a disgrace and a huge shame for the younger Aussies over hear who would have probably jumped at the chance to represent their county in such an event. Hopefully Neil Street will give some of the kids a chance in next years SWC, they can't do any worse than Sullivan did this year, but at least they'll be trying. FlyinRyan
I really hope Norris doesn't qualify for the GP. 1 years effort following 15 years of of not being bothered doesn't merit an inclusion in such a prestigious event as the GP. If I was picking the top two I'd have to go Karlson and Andersen, I'm a great believer in sods law!

Or Wato! What else did Craig have to do to merit a place in his own team managers side! 10+ point average, unbeaten in CChase, only Aussie left in qualifiers, top scored in the majority of qualifiers and streets ahead of Boyce this season! JT
Craig Watson for example, what route did he take and did he have any notable scalps along the way? I have always been a Watto fan, don’t really know why apart from the fact he rode for Newport with the legendary (well to me and a few mates) Frank Smart. Wato scored 13 in the quater final and top scored in the semi! I just hope their are some new names in the GPs next year, any two from PUK, Wato and Floppy would be brilliant! JT
In fact a lot of the top riders in this field were in the semi final that Watson top scored in, of course he is an outsider as a PL rider but Stoney proved that PL riders can be the GP series! SCB
If Watson qualifies Newport could be in the poo poo. Can't see him being able to get back to South Wales on a Sunday for 2pm starts following GP's next season. 1. Newport is not the middle of no where!! 2. Carl Stonehewer managed to get form GP's to the middle of no where for Sundays. 3. Neil Street always manages to get from GP's to Newport. SCB
He's got no chance, he'll be totally outclassed in the company of that field. I bet you said that before the last meeting, didn't you? Only needs 4 good starts, or even 3 good starts and a bit of luck. In his semi he beat, Ulamek, Karlsson, Balinski, Bjerre, Norris, Klingberg, Danno, Howe, Ferjan, Koldziej and Lukas Dryml. Only extra riders he needs to beat that he has not alreayd beat in the qualifiers yet are, Lindback, Iversen, Brhel, Jagus, Andersen and Povazhny. To be totally honest, I don't think Wato can do it but I didn't think he could get through the last round or the round before that, as you say, 6 points would be good. That said, if Wato does qualify I'll be ordering my GP tickets on Saturday evening to make sure I get to sit on the front row of the 2nd tier with my banner Ideally Norris and Wato will qualify with Puk as reserve but I think it will be Norris and Lindback with Puk of Bjerre as reserve.
