GB Team for World Cup

Recommended Posts

Not having a reserve in the SWC, I believe that Lee should not be given a place, it's too big a risk.

Ideally teams would be allowed a non-riding reserve so using Lee would not be such a risk but as it is, Lee cannot be used.

If team GB want to win this then Lee Richardson must not be selected for the team. Recently lee has pulled out of meetings with a recurring groin strain, so leave him to rest and call on another, perhaps Howe at eastbourne and Havelock or Robson at poole

Line up for qualifying round:-

Nicholls

Norris

Loram

Howe

Final or Last chance (if we get that far)

Loram

Robson/Havelock

Norris

Nicholls

It's 5 man teams, not 4. Joe Screen IS now in the TEAM.

Middlo is obviously going to go with a top 4 of Loram, Barker, Nicholls, Screen and then choose whoever is best for each track, I'm starting to think a half fit Lee Richardson might be worth using at Eastbourne, after all, who else goes well there? If he gets injured/pulls out, we go to the run-off at Poole where we Havvy can be used instead of Rico. Simple eh?! :)

Barker? :o Don't you mean Floppy, SCB?

Thank God Screenie has had a change of heart. It was great seeing David Howe and Chris Neath get the chance on Monday, but it proved they're not quite ready for the international big time just yet. Not sure about the Eastie rounds (agree with VV maybe Barker) but would think Havvy is likely to get the nod at Poole - although if Rico does miraculously get fit again then Middlo's got a tough choice between him and Screenie later in the week.

Great to see Kolodziej included in the Polish line-up. A very bold move to throw a youngster into the SWC. I'm sure he won't let the side down.

Rico
