SCB
Who was the rider who was riding in the second half at Newcastle in about '98 (might have been 99) but rode in the main meeting when the opposition needed a number 7? It was later found out he was only 15 and should not have rode but nobody thought to ask. I just can't remember who it was, does anyone know?! Tsunami
SCB Workington brought Danny Hughes in 1999 I think and he rode 3 times. Then found out that he was only 15 and should not have ridden. Was that him ?
SCB
That would probably be who it was. Thanks for that, I was discussing something with dad a few weeks back and it come up and since then I have every now and again wondered who it was and kept thinking I'd have to ask and forgot to ask. You post about Andre Compton riding with a different name reminded me. Hopefully this will stop me going competly insane now! Thanks

Bee
I think Mitch Shirra did too. Your absolutely correct. Mitch Shirra first came over here when he was 15! Doing second halfs. Then rode the following year at Coventry before being loaned out to Coatbridge. Guglielmi was a good friend of Mitch's but he was of age when he arrived. By a few years. Guest Scooterwolf
No it was definalty Neil. I used to stand with his dad Tom at Stoke meetings and my dad was team manager for Tom when he was promoter at Birmingham. It was Neil who rode under age and was banned for a few weeks when discovered till he was 16.

Guest Steve Dixon
We've been here, you mean Howard Cole.
fireblade
Nobody can pronounce Guglielmi now. I was told that the proper way to say it was Goo-lee-ell-mee, and that came from the horses mouth. Most people say Gug-lee-mee. We all pronounce Gjedde, Pedersen, Ravn etc wrong as well.
