Very basic airport (or cattle shed as it looks like it once was).

Mick Dundee
We went last year (the less said about that the better!) and are goin again this year with RyanAir. Its a really good way of getting to Sweden cheap, the airport is tiny but ok. The great thing is that theres a bus waiting to take you to the city centre waiting outside after every flight, its really cheap and handy! a61
I've flown with loads of airlines cos of my Dad living in all these random locations and I despise RyanAir . Really low luggage weight allowance, some manky old plane and hardly any room. Tsch.
SpeedyGal
RyanAir : manky old plane and hardly any room. Tsch. You obviously went First Class, it's even worse further back
Conkers
The owner of Ryan Air, Michael O'Leary, was on Radio 4 the other day. He says that he wants to get rid of hold baggage as this slows up the turnaround time, and means they have to pay for baggage handlers, check in desk etc. His idea - take the smallest piece of hand luggage you can and buy what you need when you get there. You know the sort of things - Clothes, Toiletries, cameras.... I KID YOU NOT! Just one thing struck me when he said this - How do you get all the stuff you bought (clothes, toiletries, cameras....) home? Does one leave it there? After hearing this I made sure that it wasn't April 1st! If you don't believe this story, I found This Link
Guest richtea78
Just make sure when you get in the taxi on the way back to the airport you say Gothenburg City as otherwise its a bit of a mental journey

Mick Dundee
Well me and my dad have flown with ryanair more than 10 times and never had a problem, it all depends on what you want, if you want a flight from a to b then its great, obviously if youre used to British Airways luxury or whatever its a bit of a let down.
